KungFuCharlie
I concur...Blue Gold Bond is for sissies! :P I actually think the blue Gold Bond tinges more on certain areas. I think it has more menthol in. A cool trick with the blue Gold Bond. Take off glasses or take out contacts. Hold open bottle upright and smack it on the bottom, sending a cloud of powder into the air. Now, with your eyes wide open, walk into the cloud. DrumCorpsMom
Things I brought: - A huge jar of lollypops for the bus - A big bin of those 2 bite brownies (from Costco) - Gatorade, Gatorade and more Gatorade - Cans of peanuts and cashews - Ketchup chips (when they were in Patriots apparently they weren't available in the US) - Several big bottles of water (there were days when the water available to the corps was not good) - gummi worms - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle videos (I, II & III) - don't ask! - A couple of the new DVD's that had come out since tour started - A few times when I had more energy, I smuggled over the border 200 homemade cupcakes - Once I made arrangements to bring about 10 gallons of ice cream & showed up just as they broke for snack (helps when you have a RV). :P - phone cards and Walmart gift cards were good - twice I had to bring socks and new running shoes (drum corps is hard on the feet!) - hugs are great too! The hug would be the best part. Visits on tour would be a great thing. Shoes too im planning on bringing 2 pairs.
