  1. I'm a complete 'Coats honk, and I definitely like seeing the brassline doing so well, but my props have to go to the Troopers coming back and fielding an essentially full corps. Gives me warm fuzzies to see them again.
  2. I have to go with the good old taco in a bag. Chicken slop (hot chicken sandwiches) was pretty good as well. Call me weird, but I liked them! :) Somewhere in NY (Hornell?) the band parents barbequed up for the corps 1/4 chickens. That was always hell trying to remain focused when you knew what was coming for dinner. for all you early/mid 90's 'coats, wasn't that the place where we always saw Little Boy's mom? (wow)
  3. see...I tempted fate, and now they're up. (recaps that is)
  4. maybe for kicks, they'll post the recaps in a timely manner! (wishful thinking)
  5. If they were your favorite corps, you'd know that Bluecoats is never spelled with 2 words, at least in the drum corps world that is. My guess? you're 15 or younger. The 'coats are my favorite corps (obviously), but I fully respect each and every group on the field. We all want our corps to win it every year, but that will never happen. Calling other corps losers is classless and unbelieveably immature. I say, GO DCI!!!! If the BLUECOATS do well, then BONUS! Otherwise, I'm proud of the work that ALL the "kids" do in 'corps. I have taken the trollbait, but knowing the organization and what they represent, they wouldn't take kindly a "fan" calling other groups losers. I guess I get upset when knowing full well that each and every group works ungodly hard, and sometimes to the point of putting their own health second, and someone insults the activity which helped shaped me today. Go march, if you have the right attitude. Off my soapbox now.
  6. Even at 32, I still find bathroom humor quite funny.
  7. I know....I have too much time on my hands...and I'm immature. What do you expect? I marched Euphonium and Baritone.
  8. :blah: Um....you're joking right? if not, then I suggest you dawn your protective foil hat to protect you from those evil George Hopkins mind control rays, should you choose to go to finals.
  9. Didn't Spirit do a glory show in 1991? I can't remember. The mind goes apparently at the ripe old age of 32,
  10. I enjoy the new added use of train wistles in G-men's show. very nice. (sarcasm off now)
  11. Those Canadians had it coming, I tell ya!
  12. I'd imagine they're ok, otherwise they wouldn't have said as a precautionary measure in reference to sending those kids to the hospital. My prayers are with them anyway though I remember someone getting HIT by a car in '95. if I remember though the vast majority of the corps members were carrying out a unique finals day tradition which has since been disbanded I believe. gee...I wonder what that person's up to these days.
