GmenBari78 Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 BD - amps on the mallet instruments seems too loud, overpowers the background solos in the beginning. Typical BD horns, liked it. Cavies - opening chords, wow! LOUD! Really tight sound throughout. Regiment - Ending has 2003 and Elsa's in it, LOVE it. Bluecoats - great show to listen to, really enjoy the melodies through out. Cadets - like the horn line in the ballad, otherwise did not care for the sound of this show compared to last years. SCV - love this show, gonna enjoy seeing it live. Crown - another loud horn line, especially compared to year's past. I like their sound, and the music selection is growing on me. BAC - another overpowering pit. Did not care for the music as much. Scouts - hate to say it, but they are where they deserve to be - sloppy performance, poor balance to sound, LOUD as usual but they have slipped this year IMO.
