I guess I'm bored and waiting to go to Louisville for the Quarterfinals LIVE! ;) Every time I viewed this poll, I thought of it in this way. Hmm... interesting? Cavie74
I picked Cavaliers (no "The" b**bs) , Phantom, Blue Devils. First off I'm a FMM of Cavaliers (I think I'll start using the "The" :( ) so I think they should win every show! But seriously, I think The Cavaliers compare favorably with any show performing before, or after them. I think any corps performing after them is at a distinct disadvantage because of the differences between their tightly integrated show concept compared to everyone else. If Blue Devils win the Semifinals, The Cavaliers will probably follow Phantom and if they're really "on", The Cavalier GE, visual and perhaps horns will out score Phantom. The Blue Devils will have to follow two championship caliber performances that will have had a huge local Phan base in the stands. Polite applause may steal the trophy away from the Devils. I Phully expect the leg kick to appear in the Phantom Regiment chevron at the end of the show. The standing ovation may delay the start of the next corps' performance by ten minutes. If Phantom is clean, they may take the title. If the colorgaurd is on Phire it may tip some of the GE captions in their Phavor. I think the percussion trophy is theirs to lose. I love the Cavalier drumline and I keep hoping but ... The Blue Devils could win with a clean show if they perform with poise. If they play with too much anger or emotion it may hurt their horn scores. As always at finals, this will be a knowlegable audience and if the Blue Devils perform at the top of their game, the fans will respond and help push their GE scores over the top.
