Gold, Ruby Red & Blue

Recommended Posts

The 50th anniversary is the golden anniversary.

The 40th anniversary is the ruby anniversary.

This year, the Balance in Blue will have the distinct privilege of celebrating both!

Join us this year as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our corps' founding. 50 years of excellence, honor and tradition.

Join us this year also as we help our beloved member Walter Street celebrate his 40th anniversary -- 2007 will mark Walt's 40th season in drum corps! We're honored he'll be on the field in Buccaneer Blue! 40 years of excellence, honor, and class. Congratulations, Walt!

Tom,

I think you have just given Walt a new nickname that he is probably not going to like.

^0^

If you want to look at it that way, I suppose you're right!

But Walt's a jewel of a person, so we should all thank him for his decades of service to the activity!

Walt is my hero...

I consider myself to be a pretty good drum corps history afficionado but between Walt and Donnie Sollinger they could write a book!

(maybe they should...)
