The wait is over!!! After a successful December camp that concluded with a brass and percussion ensemble rehearsal of the first two charts of the show, the Brigs are chomping at the bit to get it going again in January!

Housing will be available both Friday and Saturday nights at the Central Square Middle School. Check-in and registration for all new and returning members will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Please refer to the Corps' Online Membership page for further details.

For all percussionists, audition exercises can be found on the corps' web site at www.brigadiers.com.

The Brigs are still looking for dedicated, talented individuals interested in helping the corps achieve its best season yet! The 2007 Brigs will offer a challenging, enjoyable program, equally appealing to performers and audience alike.

For more information, feel free to contact Corps Director Rick Martin at richardmartin@brigadiers.com or Recruiting Director Jason Snow at jasonsnow@brigadiers.com.

We look forward to seeing you in Central Square!

With roots dating to 1938, the Syracuse Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991 after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.

I think Dawn Marie got exempted late last season...Paul looks like the first to audition this year! ^0^

Looks like this weekend could be a great time to play LOUD!! (I thought I heard a rumor somewhere that LOUD was on the schedule sometime during the weekend...)

See y'all Saturday~

I auditioned for the weather gig, but for some reason those Central New York people didn't want it to be 80 degrees and sunny in January........ So my forecast was rejected.

Sheesh..... :P

I'm definitely out of the running...I laughed at the local newscast last night when they sent a "StormTeam" member out to measure the snow depth. 0.4". Yes, that is four tenths of an inch of snow. Unfortunately, it resulted in a 2 hour commute into work today. Is it bad when you cheer for the speedometer to get to double digits? <**>

Anyway, looking forward to getting away from this winter wonderland & playing some great charts this weekend! :)
