MN DCI Fan
I, for one, thought that the play section was great. I actually liked a lot of Cap Reg's show.
jayberry2
Capital Regiment now has a brand new site. Flash and everything. Some parts are still being built but pretty darn cool. B) Check it out. www.capitalregiment.org
rai-mello
I, for one, thought that the play section was great. I actually liked a lot of Cap Reg's show. Agreed. I, myself, severely underestimated how fun their show would be. Not to say it was the best show ever, but those are shows I like. Shows that are fun. I like other shows, but fun is good. mr.mello
If anyone is interested in seeing the original context of the song ("Serra Pelada") here's the address: http://youtube.com/watch?v=yLr3H3nIW6E&...ted&search= Seeing the imagery really adds a new dimension to the piece. I've always enjoyed seeing how original songs (in terms of how they are presented) are different from the drum corps version.
Triple Forte
what was with all the random crap in that part of the show? Frisbee, singing/chanting, skipping, twirling trumpets? Wow. I for one "Loved" the play section of the Cap. Reg. 2006 show......and I am an anti-amper. Very pleasing to the ears and fans friendly. The end of Cap's play section tune received rousing applause by the crowd...

jazzinpizazz
So Ice...... Did you march corps? Just curious because using the word "crap" to describe a selection of a show is very disrespectful. To the designers of the show and the members.... The closer was executed well by the performers and they were having a good time... Isn't that what it is all about?
