what was with all the random crap in that part of the show? Frisbee, singing/chanting, skipping, twirling trumpets? Wow.

errr..portraying the music to the audience, Maybe?..I swear that's on the GE sheets..

Hell..the anti-ampers should love that is was done sans microphone

Give 'em credit..God knows those kids went through enough... :sshh:

Capital Regiment now has a brand new site. Flash and everything. Some parts are still being built but pretty darn cool. B) Check it out.

I, for one, thought that the play section was great. I actually liked a lot of Cap Reg's show.

Agreed. I, myself, severely underestimated how fun their show would be. Not to say it was the best show ever, but those are shows I like. Shows that are fun.

I like other shows, but fun is good.

If anyone is interested in seeing the original context of the song ("Serra Pelada") here's the address:

Seeing the imagery really adds a new dimension to the piece.

I've always enjoyed seeing how original songs (in terms of how they are presented) are different from the drum corps version.

I for one "Loved" the play section of the Cap. Reg. 2006 show......and I am an anti-amper. Very pleasing to the ears and fans friendly. The end of Cap's play section tune received rousing applause by the crowd...
