Slow Adam
The other thing that bugs me about the other makers is that they use black nylon for their tenor mallets - white is so much more effective visually.
Hysteria
Vic does make the best tenor stuff. From Vegas to cartwheels they have it. Although Innovative makes a better puffy mallet. Innovative snare sticks i still think hold up against vic's line of snare sticks.
Slow Adam
I was a huge fan of Innovative's Colin McNutt snare stick.
Tristan
It's still a great stick--it's just called the FS2 now :)
PitTech
I would suggest going with Vic Firth all the way for percussionist products. They are just totally the best. Edited May 6, 2007 by PitTech
MalletMusic
Been in ensembles that have used all three. Vic Firth. The pesante series is great... multi app series is awesome. works for indoor and outdoor. Innovative in a very close second. Casellas and Anconas are great. pro mark... nope, keep tryin. and I used these the longest...
drumcorpbc
Elizabeth, I thought you were endorsed by Encore Mallets? I'm sure those folks wouldn't appreciate you putting VF above them. Or is that another one of the many lies you've tried to spread over the years? Out of morbid curiosity, what is it that you like about VF mallets? I'll be curious to know your answer because in conversations we've had in the past, you've constantly praised IP mallets and Pro-Mark mallets ahead of VF. Or can you not remember your lies anymore? drumcorpbc
You are very much allowed to have your own opinion, never said you weren't. However, if you are truly an Encore Mallets endorser I would suggest you not, not put them at the top of your list. Bad for artist relations.
