REAL favorite instrument poll

Sooo, judging by the fact that french horn is included, this should be favorite drum corps/concert instrument, in which case I cry Where's trombone???

They're refering to French horn bugles, not concert horns.

I'm going to rank these:

1 - Trumpet/Soprano: I played it in band so I'm biased. The loudest

instrument in drum corps

2 - Mellophone: this section plays good runs and adds a

certain "something" to a drum corps.

3 - Pit: lately, I have really enjoyed hearing a drum corps with a really

good front ensemble (e.g. Cavaliers, Cadets).

4 - Guard: it's not an instrument but I really enjoy watching good color

guards.

even though I voted snare (duh...) I never get tired if hearing a great pit. I watched SCV's pit practicing last year... awesome.
