GBPezman
I'll be there! I'm hoping my son will get over his newly found fever before tonight. Here's to hoping! :) This is the only show I get to see this year, so I can't wait!! If the kid doesn't get better, I'll probably have a ticket available - its on the 50! S. Pearson
PAST: Drums on Parade was originally held at Bree Steven's Field on East Washington Ave for many years, and I think the parade ended around 1979. There was also parade called the Holiday Parade which took place during the corps banquet weekend in November. Alumni member joined the members for that parade. (around Thanksgiving) I think DCI also held parade around the square in 92' that a few corps participated in. I think that was the only attempt at a parade, other than at Disney. The drum lines that year, all got together for a joint warmup on the square prior to the parade. PRESENT: Lots of good seats still available at the gate! Weather forecasts excellent weather (sunny/71). The larger the crowd, the larger the rush for all of the performing corps!!! It's a Friday show meaning plenty of time to get home and recover for work on Monday!!! :)
