hostrauser
I'm still confused on how/ where I pick my captions I do not see a link on the menu bar on the main page, and where and how do I pick my schedule Captions For captions, go to this site: http://www.drumcorpsfantasy.com/ Login to the site using the login form on the lower section of the right table, then select your captions using the menu option in the left table. You must be logged on to drumcorpsfantasy.com before the caption selection menu option will appear. You might want to read important caption information first: http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...howtopic=112539 Tour Schedules Select the shows you want to perform in using the master schedule on this page: http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...howtopic=110997 Then submit them to DCPI administration by following the instructions in the first post on this page: http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...howtopic=112303 Edited June 7, 2008 by hostrauser
jedihunter80
OK, so what does hosting a show consist of? Is there anything special I need to do if I am selected to host an event?
CincinnatiGloryMello
There is really no selection process.... if you request to host a show, and no one else has claimed it... its yours. You can do as much or as little as you want when hosting a show. Some people just put their corps name in association with the show, others go all out making show posters, arranging housing sites and everything. Its completely up to you. hostrauser
how do i get my corps to be listed under the "DCP-I Division 1 Members" menu? (the one with all the corps listed w/ logos) Go to the DCPI site and Log on (table on right side, below ads) In the User Menu on the left side, select "Submit/Edit My Articles" In the "Choose Section" drop-down menu select "Member Corps Info" Should be self-explanatory from there. Your entry will not show up automatically, though, it has to be approved by the administration (shouldn't take long, a few hours or a day or so). mellophone1
How long is the wait between shows and the results being posted, and where will the results be posted?
jedihunter80
Does anybody have tips for selecting captions?
Ex VK DM
Giving you tips would be like telling you which 12 herbs and spices KFC uses, but just take a look at recaps and study any trends and go from there. Trust me when I say that we are all new to the 5 caption scoring. This will all change when we go back to 8 captions.

CincinnatiGloryMello
How long is the wait between shows and the results being posted, and where will the results be posted? Most likely, scores will be posted the following morning. Unless DCI is really on top of things this year and post Recaps at a decent hour. Especially when there are west coast shows, they usually dont end til after 11 or 12, when I am asleep!
