tmignemi02
what was parking in NC?I think Scranton is $5 now <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think it was $7 in NC. I had 2 corps members in the car with me, so I didn't have to pay it. Heyyyyyyyyyyyy.......that's a great idea. Grab a corps member in uniform and sail right through. JohnZ
It was $7. And you can bet they'll catch on to that little loophole next time! ( we were issued parking tags to get in through the corps' entrance in the back)

muzzicman1
So over the 3 days in Boston/Providence a family of 3 paid roughly $745.00 for just attending DCI. This includes Room, show tickets, parking and the City of Foxboro taxes. It does NOT include the cost of airline tickets, food/drink and any variables..... that would be around $1200.00..... B) I also heard there was a bomb scare right after Blue Knights which cleared the stadium seats for a period of time...... Ahhh......DCI..............Now I'm ready for DCA its........SHOWTIME Baby!!!!! Muz
kmarnl
Supply and demand, baby. If you don't wanna pay the prices, don't go. Easy. It was packed BTW. So I guess some of us didn't mind all that much. In any case, why complain about something you want no part of, especially on the senior forum? Enjoy DCA and all that encompasses it. Why do you feel the need to bag on DCI, though, Billy?
TheMoonlightChef
Can I just comment that I paid $20 for 2 24 ounce Sam Adams drafts on Friday night!?!?!? I was in shock when I handed a 20 and asked how much and she took the 20 and said thank you, NEXT! I walked away slack jawed and a corpsmate had to snap me out of it... <**> Edited August 15, 2005 by CabsMello03
kmarnl
Not me. I had a glass of vino at Bertucci's ($5.00), a few double-deuce blueberry ales at Owen O'Leary ($3.25 a pop) over the course of four days and that was about it. I didn't find the prices anymore out-of-line than where I live. TheMoonlightChef
I didn't say they were out of line. I'm a die hard Pats fan and realize that a lot of the vendors were supporting bands/guards what have you. My point is... I GUESS NOT. Nevermind then... Point being...it costs way too much for marching bands. B) Muz.....
kmarnl
That was a lot more civil than the PM I received. However you still need to use contractions such as "you're" in place of you are. Not your. I don't think they are marching bands. I know this since I've been in marching bands and we had woodwinds. Unless you are counting The Ohio State University band who don't have woodwinds and I don't think much of them. JMHO. Ouch....I suppose your right, but its my opinion.
