Ex VK DM Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) I know I’m a slow in getting this out but, things are busy and I barely have time to breathe. Anyway here are the current state championship races, plus corps that I have no home state to put them in. If you are a director of such corps, please post the home state of your corps. If you corps is not listed is because I have your state, but you are the only corps in your state. Need to have 2 or more corps to have a state championship race. Eddie Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Florida's gonna be a bloodbath Florida's pitiful pie throwing compared to what happens over in Cali-4-I-A  Quote
CitBos Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I wish there was some kind of competetion for Massachusetts. I believe there's only two corps from Mass., Feenicks in World Class, and Cape Cod Regiment in A Class. Quote

They may be the 2nd corps needed in some state to have a championship. Quote
Jehensley Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Crescent Sound (WC) and Bourbon Street Experience (OC) is from Louisiana. That's my brother's corps... which i will beat just like his lowly saints come the super bowl... Go Colts ! Why not put the states with one corps into a multi state conglomerate or have them go to a nearby state to compete for the title. Just a thought... CORPS WITHOUT A HOME STATE/PROVINCE World Class Caloosahatchee Brass Confederate Regiment Crescent Sound Phantom of the Knight Tullahoma Azure Force Scotland Heritage Open Class Spectre Starfire A Class Harlequin Alliance Quote
CitBos Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 (edited) Why not put the states with one corps into a multi state conglomerate or have them go to a nearby state to compete for the title. Just a thought... Well, I know for Feenicks, the closest state that already has more then one corps to compete with for the title in World Class is New York, and the boarder is about 4 hours from were we are located. For Cape Cod Regiment in A Class, the closest state is Michigan. As far as maybe a closer state than New York or Michigan that only has one corps, I don't know off hand, I'll have to do some research and look it up. edit- after looking around the forums, I did found that there is a World Class corps in Portland, ME, which is about two and a half hours away, and there are two corps for Rochester, NY which is about 6 hours away. Maine might be a better decision, if Feenicks were to move................ Edited January 27, 2010 by CitBos Quote
CincinnatiGloryMello Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Confederate Regiment is from Michigan (strange... I know!) Tullahoma Azure Force I think is from TN Phantom of the Knight is from IL I believe Starfire I think is from FL Quote
Ex VK DM Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Why not put the states with one corps into a multi state conglomerate or have them go to a nearby state to compete for the title. Just a thought... I've thought about that but, I don't like messing with historical data. Meaning this year corps "A" competes in this state title, then in the live season when we have more corps they compete in a different state race. I know real corps move around, but it's not very common. We all know that your fantasy corps does not have to reside in the same state that the director lives, my only thing is pick a state and stick with it. A justifiable move....cool....just don't make a habit of moving your corps every season. Quote

After doing a quick search, "Caloosahatchee" is a river in south Florida, so I'm just going to go with that. Edited January 27, 2010 by Ex VK DM Quote
