Tyler C. Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) The Sounds of Fire Music Organization is proud to announce its intentions to compete in DCP-I's fifteenth season this winter. SFMO has been out of commission since shortly after the conclusion of Season XI, when a combination of financial and logistical crises crippled the young organization. We have relocated just south to Columbus, GA, and are now fully operational, with the audition process scheduled to begin in late August. During two seasons of activity, our World Class corps, Inferno, missed Finals by a few spots each year. Our Open Class and Class A corps, Blaze and Flame, respectively, each made Finals in their inaugural and only seasons to date. We are going to be smaller than average during this first season back, but we WILL field all three corps, and we are currently planning the return of our home show, to be relocated to Columbus. The first version of our home show was an immense success, highlighted by eventual Season XI World Class Champion Kosmos, Bronze-medalist Star of Jupiter, and Class A Champion Shade. Good luck to all corps on the conclusion of Season XIV, and we'll see you on the field this winter! - TC Edited July 26, 2010 by aNiMaL Quote
Tyler C. Posted July 28, 2010 Author Posted July 28, 2010 Thanks for the warmth, new guy! Oh, and I'll also be renewing the Rookie of the Year thing I carried for a while, with a new format: Rookie Director of the Year, instead of naming 3 different Rookie of the Year corps. Quote
Tyler C. Posted July 31, 2010 Author Posted July 31, 2010 Thanks, I'm glad to be back. Hopefully I'll only be able to do off-seasons for the next few years, though. Quote
