  3. You're are hearing correctly. This weekend was a great one. Ensemble went great with the corps getting through the 1st 3 tunes successfully. I can't wait to hear the recordings. Drum parts are sweet and the horn book is rockin for sure. All of the arrangers have outdone themselves with this book. I can't wait until the public gets to hear this show for the first time. The wall at the Classic at the end of April will be shaking for sure! All we need at this point is a few horn players to fill out the line. 1-2 mellos, 3-4 baris and a handful of trumpets. The Tuba line is full for the most part but feel free to stop in if you are interested anyways. Drumline is shaping up nicely. I believe all we need at this point is a tenor player or 2. Pit was also hard at work this weekend pushing themselves through as many notes as I even seen on a page at once. Things are looking great here as well. We could use maybe 1 more board player. If you're still on the fence and are looking to have a good time while playing come great parts written and taught by great staff then come out to the next camp at hope hall 03/25-3/26. Directions can be found on our website. www rochestercrusaders.org
  4. Ok since people seem to be afraid to write anything I will. So there! Geez people are we all working or something. Oh I know you're all practicing. Relish the thought. lol Anywho see everyone at the next camp weekend March 11th & 12th. BTW: It's a great year to be a Crusader! Come check it out!

  6. Ok this was requested to be dropped by the director of the corps in an earlier post on here Any other people who may have been offended please comment on PM with each other as this is not helping with the reputation of the corps at all. No offense meant to anyone but please keep the positive going on here and let's drop the misinterpretations of what was origianl meant one here. Thanks
  7. this thread should be closed and a new positive one should be started. Like other people have said this is reflecting poorly on the organization and that is not what was intended. Please close this out as soon as possible!
  8. ya know gary i think this should be the motto of all those people that are attending camps with 75-80 horns. Yes there are two paths you can go by.....but in the long run....Theres still time to change the road your on!" anywho, camp next weekend, hope hall be there
  9. No smoke up anywhere. This was a great weekend. the attitude is great and the members have come ready to work their tails off. This year is going to be great one for this corps. I'm very excited for the season and to see how far this program is going to come this year! Like Brian said, we do have some remaining spots available in all sections. Information for our next camp can be found by visiting our website www.rochestercrusaders.org. Come be part of a refreshing change in the drum corps ciruit this year. I promise you will have a great time and make some life long friends doing so.
  10. I was 17 when I joined Empire Statemen in 96. It would have been sooner but our high school had a rule that you could not march drum corps until you graduated or you would be tossed out of their music program. For a music major that is a big thing. So I waited. Had I known then what I know now, I would have told them to #### off. lol
  11. I just heard from Brian ( who spoke with Mike) that rehearsal is cancelled this weekend due to inclement weather. Ice and snow. FUN FUN. I beleive an email will be going out shortly. If you know someone not on dcp please let them know.

  18. Ok so this is clearly not a show announcement so I think It's safe here. And since they removed the other one announcing the show then I guess we're not over our 1 post limit. So any one up for some taco salad this summer. We are in the most need of low brass playing taco salad eaters. There is sure to be some in rochester at the 1st camp that is post on the show annoucement forum.
  19. So now that we can't post information about our corps here, reviews here, any sort of corps history, anything off topic or even anything debatible here, what can we post on here?
  20. One thing i have learned is the good or bad talk is still pubilcity. Screw the naysayers and prove them wrong. Some people just need to pull the bunched up painties out of there butts. So there is another really good and different corps coming up and treatening corps that have been long established in the circuit. So what? How about being happy about the fact that our activity is growing and not shrinking like dci has been doing the past few years. Instead everyone has to complain like someone ###### in their cornflakes that morning. get over it. If you don;t like the fact that renegades are nipping at your heals year after year. Then maybe you all need to look at your own program and see what you can do to improve from within. Complaing about other corps only wastes time. It's really counter productive when you could be bettering yourself. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.
  21. he's trying to keep it brief not to clog up dcp any longer? lol.
