  1. It rained that noght too. But they were AMAZING!! Even from the endzone.
  2. If you're looking for something to do before Finals, you can always take in this spectator sport:
  3. Fran, you could literally phone in the announcements and it'd be a local call! lol
  4. Our mom's must have the same shopping gene. I have the dvd still, but it's behind all my other dvds keeping dust off a 38 sq in portion of my shelf. It's better that way.
  5. Maybe the reviewer and the judges have two differing opinions on what they saw that night. Might that be possible?
  6. Remember, though... they might not all be girls. Even if they look like it.
  7. Jeff, the gig is up... He's met me in person. He KNOWS we're all aliens...
  8. Bernard does usually do great reviews. And for those that want Class A reviews, I have to say that I saw him going up to the stands during SS. Rockmart is a bit secluded and maybe he was running late. Who knows. As for the weather, that was just really good timing!! All last week was sweltering. Like Orlando-before-it-rains-in-the-afternoon hot.
  9. Ok...I just had a flashback to rookie talent night, John...
  10. CV started with a small trailer for everything. It took a Tetris Master to pack that thing! Then had a box truck that wasn't built out. We built it out my first year. From the pit side, the truck was a blessing and a curse. We had room for everything, and were able to protect our equipment, but the loading ramp was too narrow for all keyboards save one and when it rained, that ramp was slick as oil. Plus, the floor of the truck was almost shoulder high, which meant quite a push on that short ramp. We stored everything in there one year. The next two we used the truck for percussion, guard & field equipment (inc water jugs) and the trailer for horns. (The truck towed the trailer and you should have seen that thing fling around on the open road!) The cost of upkeep on the truck was getting unmanagable, so the next season we purchased a long trailer with a drop down door/ramp and used the 2 trailers for the next 2 years. We stored instruments in the trailer year-round when we couldn't find space at our rehearsal site. We'd take the long trailer on short trips and use both for long trips by either renting or borrowing F-150's. But that was as of 2 years ago. I've passed on my title of Truck B!tch to the next generation of pit people, and don't know what they're using these days.
  11. I'll be at the Rockmart, GA show! Come see me at the ticket booth!! Everyone!! I mean it!!
  12. I was working the ticket booth on Saturday, but I did get to see MCL and CV. I'm not a good reviewer; theres onlt a few things that I can say about the shows. MCL had a nice opening statement. I didn't like the pit screamers that held over everything. (I don't like pit screamers in general, but that's a whole other bucket of worms.) I liked watching the "couple." She missed a lift I think. The last chord was a bit too much for me, but I know how rushing the pit can get performers excited and unfocused. CV - I'm an alum starting this season, so my review is biased. I'll keep it to myself. Sorry I didn't have more to say.
  13. I had a very hard time locating a 2005 finals patch, so I took at 2002 finals patch, carefully took out the second 2 and stitched in a 5. I've fooled people for quite sometime with that trick.
  14. Please help. I'm trying to archive my 150+ PM's. I've gone through the steps in the control panel twice, once selecting Excel format and once selecting HTMP format. Both times the email I received was complete jibberish as you can see below. Thank you for your help. A sample of the emails I received: etc.
  15. Mods, WILL you be able to identify the specific post number 1,000,000?
  16. 150 to go. I feel all tingly. (No, not really. :P)
