  1. If you choose to march in this awesome section, you will be around the best of muscians! You will also have Mistress Kelli right before your very eyes! Thx VKGarry for sharing this need among the masses! Will you be marching in the CNY parade? If so, I'll see you there!
  2. The one thing that I admired about this particular DVD is that the colors are so vivid and real. Nicely done! It's also nice to note that the talking by the narrators during each performance that night is edited out, thank goodness!
  3. Hey GGarrett! Great shot of the K-men alumni snareline! The guy in the middle, Dale Lofgren, with the bad ### look on his face ,was my instructor in '79 and '80 and he still teaches the same way, very professional and very funny! His chops are to be desired! Everything that touches the head is clean as ....
  4. Wow, GrewyG2, you really searched! Re: the '75 photo of Tony who was one of the awesome snare drummers that year as well as '76 and '77...such a typical scene!
  5. Hi Mike! Hey, how about a "double wedding" on the 50? :P I'll be there with Scott, just not on the field! I couldn't get the Saturday's off for rehearsal or I would have loved to march with you! I look forward to meeting Vicki!
  6. Hey John! I'll be working on the pics this weekend. They should be better quality as well...still need a little assistance. I'm glad that you are enjoying them!
  7. Sorry about the quality of the pics...I will try to re-post for the practice to get them to be better. Yes, Tom Wieske was quite a player! He was my bus seat partner in "81 and my car-pool ride. I heard a lot of good stories. I'll post a pic that you would like soon!
  8. By the way, it was great meeting you. I had a lot of fun watching you guys. Here's one of those pictures with the sign: Kingsmen Alumni Corps
  9. Well, being that I was only 16 and seeing DCI for the first time, was amazing! I was so "ripe" for the activity and my eyes and heart were bulging with excitement and newness. So, 1977 in Denver was it for me! Marching in a corps at a DCI finals show was SO great, but not quite the same, four years later. Albeit, in '82, one year later, and my last, and winning, that was a close second!
  10. Hey Snaptettes! I didn't see you! Did you know that you could recruit me? If you march, I will! :) Play some SCV stuff and show off those sweet, fast rolls!
  11. THX so much for your expertise! I'm trying to follow your suggestions to no avail. My boyfriend will be walking me through it in a few days so at that time I will be able to share! My photos are very limited to the years/corps that I marched, but I think that you will like them..."old school" indeed!
  12. Sorry if you can't see the pics! I can see them on my computer, but I'm very new to this and I'm probably doing something wrong!
