I think that Carmina Burana would be AWESOME for Phantom!

I am a 16 year old high school junior and I will be auditioning for the Phantom Regiment in November. I was wondering if they will send the same audition peice to everyone who is going to be auditioning or if I must put together my own peice with the technical/lyrical aspects. I know that the info comes out in early September, but I kind of wanted to know in advance. Also, what are some things to focus on before auditioning (is there a lot of sightreading, scales, ect.?) Also, what are some of the marching aspects of the auditions?

Phantom Regiment's 2003 ending was amazing! I also liked 2004 Blue Devils when they all marched off the field in a "train".

I'm a junior in high school and I know that I want to be in drum corps in my college years. I was wondering, though...are there a lot of people in the hornline who do not major in any kind of music in college? I probably would not major in music, but I would still be part of some ensembles and the college band. I was just kind of concerned because I don't want to feel like I don't have the chops or playing skills to be in corps if a lot of other people major in performance or something with music. I was just wondering because I really don't know what the majority if the hornline does for majors.
