    I wasn't in the corps in 75, but hearing Phoenix (on the record) being booed by the other corps really made me mad. Then, I realized they were all just jealous! Rock on DA! (BTW, 76 Phoenix is still one of my favorites!)

    I was a 15 year old rookie with Cliff in the '76 Thunderbirds, playing contra. I remember getting the DCA album in the mail, playing it, and MY Mom telling me to turn it up! :P

    Well, lemme tell ya, as a trumpet player (and former contra/bari player) I did this last year and had a ball. My son played his sousaphone. Tomorrow, I will strap on the bari again. My son will have his sousa. AND, my father in-law (Grampa, also a trumpet player) will be playing bari, along with my bro in-law (TJ's godfather) on G contra! (Thanks TubaDon!) It will be a real family affair, to be sure. I'll post the numbers and give a brief review tomorrow evening. I am really looking forward to this!
