  1. well grooviest not so much, but JAMMIN def. 2000 cavies hands down, which then again 2001 cavies also was jammin. 2000 cavies drum parts just had that laid out jam beat that you just have to bob your head.
  2. Since I was marching and was able to see it SCV was so powerful, and rich they in 99 should NOT have tied with BD. DOnt get me wrong BD had a great show, and excuted well, but seeing it SCV was cleaner, more powerful and you could feel the show not simply listen to it. 2000- cavies should have had it hands down as well...no tie. those are the only two for now..... :)
  3. oh also Madison show was smoking.....
  4. Seen alot of 1995 on here which I would agree great year!!!! But if I had to pick i havent seen 1999 on here. SCV's show ROCKED , BD had a pretty awesome show, Cavies moved up, phantom was good, Crossmen had a jammin show, Colts had a nice sounding hornline. Tope to bottom it was awesome. Plus NO ONE expected the tie.
  5. Anytime we were in the South Spirit would get the crowd going and we as a copr would watch and be attentive to let them know we respected them. We never actually played a show together with them in 99, but you knew the respect was there. I kinda miss the old Spirit of Atlanta being called out...... IN 2000 it was the same.... Good luck to both bones and spirit. :) Crossmen 99,00
  6. Crossmen did have a fun show that alot of people dugf the music and got into it. Reminds me of madison where the crowd loved them but they never seemed to break out of 6th place and go higher( since the championship year) I saw them 2 times this year once in Va, and westchester Pa and both times I enjoyed their music. THe problem I had with th show is that I watched them warmup, and they sounded MASSIVE and prettty freakin awesome. WHen they stepped onto the field sooooo much sound was lost and it didnt seem AS intense as it did when they were standing still. Also, at both shows there were some terrible marchers, people out of step. I also talked to a couple guys and there are alot of younger guys than in past years. One of the staff guys told me the average age is like 17 or 18, which could paly a role. EIther way it was a fun show to watch if you look pat the technical parts. just my two cents for my old friends crossmen 99,00
  7. Forgot to say that it was a tenor player jumpingup and down doing the running man. Yeah I saw the 2000 tenor player also cracks me up
  8. well its not a mess up but funny....if you watch 97 SCV, I think its the opening tune or 2nd one....while the whole corp is doing different visuals one of them decided to do the running man.....its looks hilarious.
  9. I think one of the worst visual moves was 93 cavies, where the form is moving and two lines have to cross each other and 3 horn guys end up falling down on that one move. Also 94 BD, the closer a mellophone chick slips in the mud on a change of direction. Soprano at the end of 95 cavies show.........entrance was kinda ehhhh
