Wow things are really looking up for us west coast corps I am officially, On behalf of every single person on the west coast inviting any corps to come out west and see what it's like to be treated like a rock star. Ohh and to party like one too. Trav Just show up, you could sleep in a Wal-Mart parking lot or something.

My first DCA video was from the03 Renegades website, a full video of their 03 and 04 finals performance, WOW!!!! More corps should do that. Anyways I've been marching since. Thank you to the responsable 7. Now I have a corps to march with. Trav

2 of our 05 and 06 lead soprano players were 3rd soprano players in 2004, Tiffany and I. Oh and I vote for 06 Renegades. How do we do it? Jimmy 70's SVC Rich 80's BD Larry 80's BD Doug 80's BD Tiffany 80's Star Travler 80's BD Chris 90's SCV and that's just our leads, Then THE Jim Mc Farlend uses Hokus Pokus and you end up with some tasty west coast flavor. I was 34, 15 years after my last junior corps show. Then I joined Renegades in 2004, Hmmm things are different now. I actually went cold turkey for 15 years. But I always said if they ever have drum corps for big people I'd do it. I love it for all the same reasons I did before. Trav ^0^

I heard that the Renegades, I mean a friend of mine told me, I mean I was there and they werent very loud at all, as a matter of fact the guy that fell out of his seat was pushed. After all if they were so great they'd say so. Let the drama begin!!!! Seriously we were just O.K. There is nothing for anyone to worry about we won't be a threat to you. UNTIL AUGUST!!!!!!!! They are both beneficial in different ways. Junior corps because It lit the flame under my###, and it gave me the priviledge to be instructed by Names like Wayne Downey, Jack Meehan, Dave Carico, Jay Long, Doug Kenyon and Gary Bratton. Some people only get 1 year in Junior corps or just miss out. I had the priveledge of marching 4. On the senior corps side, Wow where do I start? I've been doing it for 2 years now. I always said if they have Drum Corps for big people, I'd do it. I've been instructed by guys like Chris Nalls, The jim Mc Farland, Ed Teleky, John Meehan, Frank dorittie, Sorry if I'm leaving out names guys. My point to all of this is how much would it cost a guy like me to get so much of these talented people to educate me outside of the drum corps world? That is beneficial to me. Senior corps allows me more time to work and make a living. Senior corps relit the flame. It also is allowing me another chance to actually win a world title someday. Senior corps has taught me to pace myself at parties and has given me the gift of having partied with a kiltey, MBI, The Cabs, Govenaires and more. But the one thing that has been the most beneficial to me since I grew up in Drum Corps on the west coast in the 80's is I have marched on the same field in the same show with a Vanguard, Blue Devil, 27th Lancer,Crossmen, Freelancer, Mandarin, blue star,blue Knight, Velvet Knight, Madison Scout, Black Watch and I know i'm missing alot, and we all work together, No rivalry.
