you arent familiar with much drum corps are you? they were called the velvet knights and they totally pownd.

i love the yell. and done along i with the vanguard pose its so bad***! VANGUARD!!!!!

so im sitting in my dorm at about 2 in the morning and i have a class at 9 am so i do what a drum corps fanatic such as myself would do and pop in a dci dvd . so im watching 04 and i got to listening and i found the cavies to have a very weak sound. dont get me wrong, its clean and all... but all i hear are trumpets and mello. i hear the low parts if i want to or if they have a line by themselves, but otherwise once the high brass comes in its goodbye bari/euph/contra. im just curious if anyone else hears this. perhaps its just late...i dont know.

im going to have to go with vanguard 01-04. Two words... totally bad***! im also going to have to with phantom white! Two words... classy bad***! and im still sticking with my own little uniform :P

ya, i think above i said just this past season, but lets make it the 2000 generation of uniform

im also going to be biased and i say i like my own. i like how they make us stand apart from everywhere else and i think they make a pretty bold statement. gotta love the off center theme!

thankyou for the link, thats a really good forum, i love the pictures. but im speaking on the lines of todays uniforms as of this past season. sorry, i should have been more specific. ^_^

there has been mention of uniform design lately. i was wondering which uniform people liked the most and why.

i played godzilla eats las vegas in my high school wind ensemble. we decided it would be cool and threw it together the last week and performed it with a powerpoint slide show depicting the written narration....amazing!!!! b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs b**bs

if you ask me this is a pretty stupid thread... of course they look the same if youre going to talk about short jackets lean pants a pointed shoulders or whatever term was used. the short jacket gives you the look of being taller, the lean pants give clarity to the marching and the pointed shoulders give a better look of posture from a distance. they all have those in common bc they make sense. duh.

when i was in highschool, i would try to make the best of marching band by starpping 2 ankle weights ((10 lbs)) to my horn durring practice as to get ready for the upcoming drum corps season ^0^

Cadets 89- i just all around enjoy watching this show ^OO^ BAC 04- i dont care about the narration, i think it enhances it, but lets please not get on that subject . i think people were to busy getting hotdogs or signing petitions to notice that they still had good music and i personally enjoy the drill very much. Crown 03- i know i marched this show and i may be biased , but i think people focused too much on how much we lacked in brass instead of where we came from and what we did with it :angel:

taylor is a great guy. i marched with him in 04 and hopefully this coming season. do you have his sn?

theres one dream that never changes too much that i have several times a year. usually its the first day of tour and i've realised that i woke up several hours late. i run to the field and join rehearsal, only to find that the staff had decided to change the show and had already taught the new music and drill to everyone and in 10 minutes we're loading up the busses to head off to our first show and i have to go out on the field as a punishment for waking up late. then of course theres the nightmares of hearing a Dr.Beat at quarter note = 220 for circle drill
