Pioneer, of course. :P

It kinda discovered me. My frined were always talking about DCI during summer band, and I got interested. I found some videos, watched them, and auditioned for Pioneer a couple weeks later.

Problem about the 4th of July parades for Pio, we have three in quick succesion. Then I think we have an exhibition show to do, busy day for us.

Sounds fun, and I wish something like that would happen, I want to seem some shows and meet some people from other corps during my Junior Corps career.

At Pioneer we've got about 40 horns commited, and too many drummers, and have a waiting list for drumline/pit. If anyone wants to march in the hornline, check us out, we really need brass. Although the people we do have can play very well, we still need a little more. Also, we need more guard. We have about 100 members that I know of.

Lemme see(note-I havent marched yet, but have heard alot of stories) One guy got the nickname "Sko-sko". We have a few Japanese and the guy was caught wanking it on the bus, so they called him that, and the name stuck. Sharkbait, dunno the story. Big Country Big Johnson(note-all conta players' nicknames start with "Big") Thats all I know

Well, we're short on brass, but all the vets and staff agree that we've got one of the strongest Pioneer hornlines in a while. After the Southside Chicago St. Paddy's day parade, alot of the staff we're saying how normally it takes until June or so to get looking that good. We'll see though, it'll be interesting for sure.

Dunno who 311 is, but sounds fun. One of the brass instuctors at Pio joked about doing a Flogging Molly show, that might actually work though. That would be interesting.
