  1. This thread has obviously taken us down a path of discovery and enlightenment that I could not have imagined when I first started the topic. My only desire was to shed light on a developing situation with CR, and regrettably it has taken on a life of it's own. I am sure that the authorities at DCI are aware of the misgivings that have taken place at CR, why else would they have asked Fred to join the corps after San Antonio. I am hopeful that someone will be held accountable to the parents, staff, and marching members, for the apparent mismanagement that took place this summer. They all deserve an explanation and an apology. Please join me in demanding that DCI conduct a full review of Rick Bays, and the Board of Directors of Capital Regiment, for administrative practices, and financial stability. I respectfully ask that this topic be locked from further comment. Thanks
  2. I thought you said your mom was on tour with you this summer? I'm sure you have something to contribute.
  3. I was checking up on the Capital Regiment website this morning, pretty randomly and I ran across the announcement that it was to be shut down by the webmaster/tour coordinator for some reasons that he lists in an announcement and continues on the forums. It's rather disturbing to read, as someone who's marched and knows what kind of things go into the opporation of a corps and I know many people don't necessarily read their forums as much as you may read Blue Devils or The Cavaliers. I know I don't. I just hope that DCI is fully aware of the #### that these two staff members clearly went through with the admin (Rick Bays). There needs to be some serious investigation into this issue for the sake of the kids. I'm truly concerned. Announcement Forum Post
  4. he did it to a STAFF member in 05. this staff member was LOCKED out of a housing site that night. totally absurd behavior for a director and i'm glad that i'm not directly involved with him.
  5. definitely well put together, definitely enjoyed it, but i was hoping for more. i know they can't show/play all, but at least give me one passage that excites me.
  6. idle threats...whatever dude, you put bluecoats in your sig and you represent them on here. just like if you wore the member jacket at a band cometition. you're representing as long as you have a corps name tied to you. take that from someone who marched 6 years at somewhere reputable. thats one thing i learned. i may not agree that what you said was so wrong, but if ONE person does, you're helping that one person to change their opinion of your corps. and the bluecoats dont need that. i have to say that im not terribly excited. it sounds great (clean), but im really hoping that MUCH more exciting things are coming. if not, i'll be terribly disappointed. *edited for spelling*
  7. Very good post, Keith...Puts things in a different perspective.
  8. ...as was that blatant and totally unecessary attack.
  9. BLOOOOO! Would love to see a new face in there. Other than that, PR is another wish.
