No....but those up and comers have been in the ORG a long time...makes a big difference. Sometimes fresh blood CAN make an immediate impact -- witness BAC after Gino Cipriani, Steve Bentley (people always forget Steve), and Colin McNutt moved to them. However, BAC is - to me - an outlier of a corps finding the magic formula all at once. They're a unicorn. A long-term staff that works together -- BD being the poster child, but I think Bloo is getting there...possibly Crown as well -- is a key factor.

Unmatched in DCI perhaps....but not in drum corps overall. Reading Buccaneers pulled off a 6-peat -- an UNDEFEATED 5-peat -- from 2005-2010

If Mandies win it all, they'd be the first corps to win in every division they've competed in.

Honestly, I'd love to see BAC take it....I think they'll do so within the next 4 years. Their main worry now is a lack of experience at the very top...they only became a contender last year, and BD's been there for decades.

Well yeah....John Meehan and Dave Gibbs both have been almost nowhere else. But one thing BD did very well in John's case was giving him a ton of time with Wayne to learn the ropes of the job....the transition was a years-long thing, hen e why it was so smooth and didn't inturrupt the operation if the corps.

Whatever idea you push won't see the field for about 5 years if Chandler runs with it....that's how far out I understand he plans the programs.

Not so sure....one reason 4 in a row is difficult is the competition finally catches up....happened to Cadets and Cavies.

A lot of people have because it wasn't three straight calendar years....like the 2020 cancellation and 2021 exhibition season counted in a threepeat.
