  1. I hope so, I heard the Cascades had a **** of a show
  2. It says for SA today that you can "download your APD 1 hour after the corps steps off..." Well, the Cascades stepped off over an hour ago, and I have no download options... Is this only limited to the evening show? If so, it's time for an angry e-mail.
  3. I'll say it again... SEATTLE. Beautiful stadium, wonderful city, mild weather, and a starbucks every 2 buildings. And besides, the further east you go in Augest, the better chance you have of a lame "thunder watch" ruining a good corps finals performance. <**> *Reply if you were there and wanted to stab all the security officials in the jaw*
  4. There seems to be a weird vibe on DCP tonight... A lack of new posts, and general decline in commenting. Is this the calm before the storm? Being my first season here it seems like it to me. The eye of the hurricane, if you will.
  5. Eric Whitacre Opener - Ghost Train/1st half of Equus Ballad - Sleep or Lux Aurumque Closer - Noisy Wheels of Joy for the drum feature/2nd part of Equus to close out. And then the final minute bring back the melody of Lux/Sleep and end all nice and huge. And I want to see the Bluecoats or Crown do it. For some reason Eric Whitacre music doesn't seem to mix with Phantom in my head.
  6. Oregon Crusaders was the best encore i've seen. They played their entire show and their brassline is killer.
  7. Easy for you to say, it's not a 4.5 hour flight for you...
  8. It's gotta be Seattle. Quest Field is a huge and beautiful, and I've marched in it before, so I can honestly say it's a nice field for that. Plus there's a lot of DCI love on the west coast.
  9. 1) Blue Devils 2) Cavaliers 3) Phantom Regiment 4) Bluecoats 5) Cadets 6) Carolina Crown 7) Santa Clara Vanguard 8) Madison Scouts 9) Blue Knights 10) Glassmen 11) Boston Crusaders 12) Spirit 13) Crossmen 14) Colts 15) Blue Stars 16) Capital Regiment 17) Mandarins 18) Pacific Crest 19) Southwind 20) Magic of Orlando 21) Seattle Cascades 22) Pioneer 23) Esperanza
  10. Where are people getting all these cool __________________ in Madison 2006 things that seem to be in everyone's signatures?
  11. A lot of different things have led to them starting pretty slow out of the gate from what I understand, but the last few shows have been better for them, and their old brass caption head is rejoining them in San Antonio, so expect them to make things interesting on their way to hopefully semis.
  12. Can someone help me convince the Cavaliers or the Blue Devils visual staff to join Phantom and Crown so that they can both begin to dominate Div I like they should? It's no secret that the visual aspect of the Phantom Regiment is the only thing keeping them out of 2nd and maybe fighting for 1st this year, and the Crown's brassline is oh so good, but their drill is sloppy. I'm anxiously waiting the day when I can see both Phantom and Crown in the top 5... I'd be so very happy. B)
  13. It all boils down to preference. I personally don't care for the music, it doesn't move me. However they play the #### out of it, so I can't argue with that.
  14. 2002 Cavaliers in terms of technically nailing it. 1996/2003 Phantom in terms of selling the emotion of the music And 2003/2004 Blue Devils in terms of sheer bad***ness
  15. I'm surprised I haven't seen Phantom 1993 on here. I've never head the crowd go that nuts for anyone other than Madison.
  16. I believe since I was the first to post the scores, that I should be treated like a saint on here. And I was only off by .1, so you all should call of the stoning as well. Good night, and go BD!
