I may be in the minority, but when someone boo's or heckles other corps during a show, it shows their passion. And for me, I like that. Although I would never boo, I don't mind others who do. I like when fans show passion. These fans are paying customers, just like the family of a corps member that attend these shows, and they have a right to express their disgust as well. It may come off as rude, obnoxious, insulting and can perhaps ruin your experience but this is a competition and you can't expect everyone to be nice to each other. Same goes for when I see fans stand up, cheering, yelling with their arms in the air, they are giving a passionate reaction for what they are seeing. I don't believe in standing up or even clapping for something that you really were not entertained by just to be a good "sport." And to be honest, I would have hated if people stood up and gave my corps a standing ovation just to be nice. I always remember looking at the audience after shows to see their reaction and determine they liked our show or not. And sometimes we didnt get a good reaction and that was fine by me. And, I believe that the members of the Cadets will only grow from this experience. They will grow thick skin and this will help them with their future.

The Cadets should've just made a show about nothing.

On the webcast, I notice that you can pause it and rewind it, but I do notice the scroller going pretty fast, like as if the video is about to end. My question to those who have been logged on for a while, do you think you would be able to pause it for about an hour and view everything that you missed, like on a DVR?

Unless they literally had 'F' 'U' on their uniform next year. That would increase that effect just a little bit.

The white stripes down the side of BD's uniform are nasty. At least for me. They need to get rid of them IMO.

:( I want to cry. Such a good show by the Cadets....only to be ruined for me by the sound of voices. It doesnt take talent to talk, but it does to play. Isnt it common courtesy to not talk during a show, that should include members as well. :P

Was that really the Cavies ending? :( Well next year is an even year and they have won championships since 2000 on even years, and have had pretty good shows so hopefully next year is no different

I will agree with you. And this is just based on my type of taste for a show, everyones' is different. My favorite show is Bluecoats. Followed by SCV, then Phantom, Crown, BKnights, Colts, BD, Cavies and the rest. I am a fan of the Cavies and their show has always been at least top 2 on my list of fav. shows for that year. But this year seems bland to me. Nothing special. Just good playing and execution. But no 'wow' factor. My 2 favorite shows each year since 2000 have been: 2000 - Cadets, Cavies 2001 - BD, Cavies 2002 - Cavies, BD 2003 - Cavies, BD 2004 - Cavies, BD 2005 - Bluecoats, Cadets 2006 - Bluecoats, Cavies 2007 - Bluecoats, SCV So ya, I think I will be watching corps 4-7 more than 1-3 this year.

I'm not sure why DCI Finals has never been shown live. Maybe because that encourages people to buy more tickets to the show or buy the dvd since they can't see the shows. But will these reasons stop DCI from ever allowing DCI Finals to be aired live. And if they did, how long would it take to get it shown live on tv and not through webcast? And once they did, how long before its in HD? I for one, am ready for this to happen. I know it takes money and all that good stuff, but this would be an incredible step for DCI. Oh man, imagine the clarity on being able to see everyones technique clearly. And if it was true HD/digital sound, it would sound like you were there.

I think there will be a trumpet in the case. The guard person opens it up and starts playing while others walk by and throw change into the briefcase and thats how the criminal earns their money. OR There will be a smaller briefcase in it, and thats it.

I have not liked a glassmen show in a while. I can't remember the last one I really liked. Although, I thought the guard uniforms were cool.
