  1. yeah they broke out the **yellow marker** on a box rotation **something you'd see if you watch sports :mmm: **
  2. for some reason Phantom Regiment 1995 always gets me and I don't know why
  3. I've not marched crown to clear up things up , I just respect thier brass program and corps as a average fan and music major but hell it's DCP you post something you don't want to hear then you get offended when they facts are clearly in your face then when you suport the team you like your a "borg". I'm not going to sit here and throw mud Good Day
  4. Crown's hornline is very commited to detils like notes, rhythms ,dynamics, articulation, INTONAION and, STYLE,. Crown's hornline plays VERY EXPOSED parts unlike hornlines like Cavilers, Phantom Regiment,Bluecoats all don't go the the level of Carolina Crown : (I.E 2005 "ANGEL") having trumpets spread out that far, ioslated attacks, and just the proudcton in general (I.E 2006 2nd production 3:33- 3:52) I don't see Cadets doing stuff like that if you want a articulation teaser lissen to (6:14-6:42) of In.trance.it something I don't see Phantom playing or :50-:55 of Angulus when have Cavailers had 60+ horns play like that? those details it's easy to say crown plays/has an easy book but the demand to pull it off is crazy and they are by far the only hornline (since Star on Indiana) to play to such a level of clarity. LL the 2007 season has yet to start but "LET'S NOT GET THE HORSE BEFORE THE CART" ON CAROLINA CROWN I'm sure the show will yet define another level of hornline performace witch is severly underestimated
  5. I'll agree but add I've always consider Phantom Regimnet to be an elite unit but I'm really think when will we consider Bluecoats and Carolina Crown both very outstanding drum corps bluecoats with their overall program and crown being only 18 years old yet consistent with programing also?
  6. that was my first tought when I saw this thead
  7. true story I know a guy who won "the game" no joke........he's one of my heroes
  8. wow.........I'm shocked... I can't believe people would stoop that low that just makes me mad
  9. 1983 Garfield Cadets 1987 Garfield Cadets 1991 Star of Indiana 1994 Blue Devils 2000 The Cavaliers 2001 Glassmen 2004 Santa Clara Vanguard 2006 Carolina Crown
