  1. What a novel approach ;) Great to see all the corps will be there this year. Can't wait. Kevin
  2. He is and they are great. I don't think the stage at our location is big enough, though, at least for the whole symphony. I would love if we did something with them, though, they're sort of our counterpart in the symphonic world.
  3. The new, improved website looks great! Good luck with recruiting and the season.
  4. In San Antonio, they announce all the scores at the end. At least that's what they've done the last three years.
  5. Cool. It definitely looks black to me in the picture, but I thought it might actually be navy blue.
  6. Very nice! Is that black and gold? Those were my high school colors.
  7. It says at the top of the voting page that you can only vote once per Fan Network account.
  8. If it was 11 miles, that at lest explains why I thought I was going to die. I didn't think 5 miles should hurt me so badly, but 11 I completely understand. Thank god I play the lightest instrument. I heard you guys in the mall briefly and caught a glimpse of a contra so I knew it was a drum corps, but I was bathroom hunting and when I came out you were gone. Edit: the horrible part was when we got to the overpass Mike mentions we thought we were done. Turns out we were only about half way.
  9. Here's my first attempt. I spent way too long on it. I threw in some curves at the end to play with it, but I didn't have the patience for a lot of curves. http://www.micromarching.com/show.php?showID=428
  10. Anti-marching in the Summer (meaning personally not wanting to march in the Summer)? Yes. Anti-drum corps? Hardly.
  11. At about 3:12 on the video you do get to hear, in the background, a small snippet of us at the end of "Amber Waves" (including, unfortunately, me cracking a note ) Hopefully they'll be more video floating around soon.
  12. It looks like Brent put the rain location on the information page on our website so I guess that makes it official. According to that the rain location is the Performing Arts Center at the NEW Manor High School, 12700 Gregg Manor Rd, Manor, TX. Click for map
  13. I don't know if anyone has made any actual plans, but I know there is definite interest in socializing afterwards. Sholz's is only a few blocks away, perfect place for food and drinks and they have plenty of space indoors and out. Of course there's sixth street and the warehouse district if people are in more of a bar hopping mood.
