He is and they are great. I don't think the stage at our location is big enough, though, at least for the whole symphony. I would love if we did something with them, though, they're sort of our counterpart in the symphonic world.
If it was 11 miles, that at lest explains why I thought I was going to die. I didn't think 5 miles should hurt me so badly, but 11 I completely understand. Thank god I play the lightest instrument.
I heard you guys in the mall briefly and caught a glimpse of a contra so I knew it was a drum corps, but I was bathroom hunting and when I came out you were gone.
Edit: the horrible part was when we got to the overpass Mike mentions we thought we were done. Turns out we were only about half way.
Here's my first attempt. I spent way too long on it. I threw in some curves at the end to play with it, but I didn't have the patience for a lot of curves.

At about 3:12 on the video you do get to hear, in the background, a small snippet of us at the end of "Amber Waves" (including, unfortunately, me cracking a note )
Hopefully they'll be more video floating around soon.
It looks like Brent put the rain location on the information page on our website so I guess that makes it official.
According to that the rain location is the Performing Arts Center at the NEW Manor High School, 12700 Gregg Manor Rd, Manor, TX.

I don't know if anyone has made any actual plans, but I know there is definite interest in socializing afterwards. Sholz's is only a few blocks away, perfect place for food and drinks and they have plenty of space indoors and out. Of course there's sixth street and the warehouse district if people are in more of a bar hopping mood.
