  12. I know of a great show being put together in Dallas in June BRASS HYSTERIA. Are you guy's thinking of attending? 13. I own and operate a fire protection company called Colorado Alarm in the Denver Metro area. Been in the fire business as a fireman and commerical operator for 20 years. We service and install fire alarms, sprinkler systems, commerical cooking systems as well as fire extinguishers and exit lights. I am looking to start a performance arts center here in Denver to help musicians who don't have any place to perform or learn music get a start in music. Also introduce new people to Drum corps in the Cololrado area. Hopeful kick off date for the center is September 08! I'm also looking at incorporating an indoor facility geared towards indoor drum corps, percussion lines, guard, as well as adding a physical conditioning and training center geared towards performance arts to build up stamina on and off the field and during rehearsals and performances. The idea keeps morphing but that is the general idea.
  14. Hey there all you guard folks! High Country Brass Drum and Bugle corps located in the Denver Metro area is holding our second annual open house on Sunday April 6th 4-7:15 pm. Don't mis out on performing with HCB this summer for our inaugural road trip to Brass Hysteria in Denton, Texas and we'll also open the show for Drums along the Rockies in Denver! WE also have several parades booked and we are also loking at other events as well so we plan on having an action packed summer season. Can't wait to meet you!
  16. New people are already coming out to rehearsals for the summer season! We've had a great winter guard/percussion season and are getting ready to go full steam towards our full summer show! Bolero, Malagueana and In the Stone lead our list of charts for the summer so plenty of challenging parts to play and the drill rocks! We are now at 9 Baris,7 sops, 5 mellos, 6 contras and just added another bass drum yesterday! Still plenty of guard spots available, we have 8 talented people now but can always use more people either on flags or weapons. No experience necessary we have some great instructors for the guard! Still have battery spots available too, 1 snare 2 bass, 1 tenor and 2 sets of plates Hornline needs 2 more baris, 1 mello and 3-4 sops and we have one funky K-90 just waiting to be played in the contra section. We won't turn anyone away if you want to march. So come on out to the open house. Hope to see you there!
