  1. The most memorable drop I remember was Cadets at Finals in 2002. The moment in the closer when the rifles count the spins....then bam! He normally nailed it, but not that night
  2. If the last place corps dropped down to Open Class each year, how many would be left? The placement definitely isn't the reason to tour with Pioneer. That corps changed my life and am still proud to applaud them!!
  3. Just got back from watching it in Greenville, SC. It was really great! Well worth the price of the ticket.
  4. Please allow me to chime in briefly on this topic. To begin, I agree with the concern about one or two of the suggestive guard routines this year. They made me a little uncomfortable, and such a thing typically wouldn't bother me that much normally. What I have a problem with is the criticism of another person on the basis that the person can't be perfect, so they have little room for making a legitimate stand for modesty, etc. "Oh, so and so is such a prude..... he must be a card player, oh and he must gamble, and he must be sinning....so let's continue to watch the situation slowly drift downward.... instead of really taking a good look at today's and tomorrow's youth and their future." Do you see where I'm approaching from? I know there are other problems in the world, but some of us feel that this indeed poses a problem, too, that we should think about. Sorry to get off on another OT rant!
  5. Hey Donny! It's great to see that you're helping out with the Shamrock Band! You taught and arranged for the hornline during the years I marched and thought I'd say hello. Good luck to you and the corps this summer!! B)
