Is Music City's ranking in their debut World Class year one of the highest ever?

This Music City is a very well-designed show with a well written drill for the theme. I don't know who their designers are, but if they are young, they have a bright DCI future.

I hope the live audience showed some appreciation for that. I loved it.

OC is one of my favorite shows of the year. This should have been a Crossmen show.

I'm a Crossmen fan, but Spirit is our sister corps. Would an extremely rare tie to get them both into finals be too much to ask for? :-) (For those who don't know, there is a longstanding tradition that when Crossmen make Finals and Spirit don't, the Crossmen form a delta at retreat. If it's the other way around, Spirit forms a cross.)

I just want to say that the interviews with the corps staff that explained the shows were very helpful to my appreciation of them. I wish they could have done them for all the corps. I think they started it with Phantom. It would be great if Flo Marching would do similar interviews today, but they have old commercials to run.

Goosebumps, Crossmen

From the way I've enjoyed this entire day of drum corps, it makes me feel that it is unfortunate we have to have scores and placements. I know it certainly is an essential aspect of the activity. But, each corps has had something interesting or entertaining to offer and I'm glad I experienced them all, even if many of them won't be seen tomorrow. ...and that dueling solo I just saw the Scouts do is part of it.

That must be a midwest-style dinner break. Way too early for my dinner.

That was an unfortunate close up of the drum major. He didn't look very engaged in his own corps.

I sense that this corps knows what it wants to be and is succeeding wildly.

First time seeing Music City. This is fun and thoroughly entertaining.
