  1. It's almost time...time to ride the "WAVE" Look out East Coast...there are some Mid-West..."Jersey Boys"...coming to town...
  2. Get ready to Ride the Wave ~ ......Sine Wave Brass will be appearing!!
  3. Ok I'm quoting myself...they got there at 1:45pm slept in Walmart parking lot last night (this morning) until 3:45am. I'm sure they are very tired...have the best show you can!!
  4. Talked to my son about 9:30am he said they were about 3-4 hours out after several bus problems, they were getting back on the bus at that time to continue-on. I haven't heard since.
  5. Not in Naperville, Ill. That show has been cancelled due to weather for 3 years in a row now! Anyways to all that are there...Enjoy Pioneer...great music...new uniforms...and watch for a nice surprise at the end!! Good luck to all corps...have great show!!
  6. The white tops really do stand-out and look sharp, lots of color on the field also with the guard unis and bright color flags!! Love the new moves they put in and the closing fly-over!! They are really putting this together at the right time. More cleaning of the show and working in the new members, should give them a nice jump!! They really do have an entertaining show this year!
  7. Sine Wave will be staying at Hyatt Regency Rochester! Come-on by and hang-out with us!
  8. I completely agree I haven't seen them in an actual show yet but the videos I've seen/heard on fan network makes me think they should be in the low to mid 60's. They do need more guard, but this is the best sounding and drill executed/design (fot this time of year)I have seen out of them in a long time, and to be scoring lower than were they were last year at this time? There is no comparison between last year and this year. It does sound like the crowd enjoys them though. That is what this sport is suppose to be about....isn't it.....they are the ones paying for the tickets.
  9. Kev, You the man......thanks for the instant play by play!!! The voice you hear while the corps is playing back field is a member reciting the Corps Prayer which is what they have been saying for years before and after every show. Thanks again Kev!! Oh............and go Pioneer!!
  10. It is staged correctly alright...................you'll see!!
  11. Call (414) 333-2235 this is a great year to be a part of. Yes there are South African students again this year, Also students from England and Japan. I think they said the kids from Mexico are coming today.
  12. They have alot of returning vets this year......not to mention some very good "new" players. The show is very demanding, and they are doing a good job performing it this early. The drill design and music is very good this year (no Irish). The horn line is very nicely balanced 50+ with some very nice visual stuff! I saw their last block of rehearsal last Thursday night....doing full run-throughs and starting to clean already. I can't wait to see them come out of the gate Tuesday! One of the kids is on twitter, keep up with the Corps: http://twitter.com/pioneerdbc Best of luck this year Pioneer!!!
  13. I believe it is an arrangement of Battle Hymn this year.
