ok hold on for a second, i didn't RUN through anyones drum, i carefully stepped over the drums very slowly. I never said i was running. But yeah if someone was running.... in UNIFORM... another no-no.... then that is disrespectful.

thats fine.. but it's not like i was purposely disrespecting the crossmen... I would do it again if i had to, but not out of disrespect. Tradition... Drum Corps... talk to george hopkins on that one.

I broke through the Crossmen rank of drums during my rookie season. lol. It was their fault, I had nowhere else to go to get back to my corps. So i just hopped over their drums lying on the ground. Someone told me to not do that again... I think its so dumb. It's like a corps is insecure or something.

then i stand corrected about the total time of their show now BUT, I STILL stand by my argument that I wouldn't wait to put in the best ending until the end. I would want it in as soon as the writers got it laid out on music and drill charts so that the marchers can condition themselves for that all season and be able to max it out on finals night. plus I believe the fans deserve it for their price of admission. I wouldn't risk an ending that hasn't been viewed by the judges all season long to be put in late in the season... what if it doesn't work? what if gets the fans in the stands in a frenzy, but the judges don't like it? what do you do then?... too late.. season's over. good luck next year. I don't like that idea.

So is Madison playing better together, cause after hearing them on the early season apd, there were some pretty bad balance and tuning issues... and that will not make a corps louder than what scv is dishing out this year.

I stand by my argument. They do have an 'ending' but the show is not as long as it will be. In the past, I know they have added some minor things to their ending, or cut one ending and replaced it with another. Yes, EVERY corps does THAT... But from what i've heard the cavaliers don't even have 10 minutes on the field. They are adding another movement or whatever you guys call it. I call it a DUMB MOVE because they are being conditioned to perform a 9 and a half minute show, but they are waiting, for WHO KNOWS what reason to add the "real ending" that will add, im guessing, a minute or so... Why have they not had SOMETHING in place of that extra time just so the corps can feel what it's like to perform an 11 minute show. I call "not fielding your entire show until late July"... a DUMB move. I don't care that they've somehow managed to win championships using that formula. I am telling you that I WOULD NEVER DO THAT if I ran a drum corps. Would you? Maybe next time, you might want to elaborate on how you know that this ending wasn't the 'real ending,' instead of just saying it wasn't. IT STIRS THE BLOOD!! lol

The Cadets will not be heading for the most unpopular dci victory ever. I have a feeling a couple of Blue teams, not to mention a particular green team will be just a step ahead when the last ROSE is handed out.

I agree except for the part about phantom keeping their feet out of their sound... They bounce too much when they run and I can hear it when they are building their logo at the close of their show last year.

were you there??? how do you not know that they didn't put it in? just because they're "supposed" to not unveil it until texas doesn't mean that actually have to wait. seriously... what the crap are the cavaliers doing waiting until the end of July to put on the rest of their show. THAT is a DUMB move.

The do their playing on the move unlike almost every corps out there today. Has the activity really gone that far downhill??? why do corps insist on parking and playing difficult music and play easy music when on the move?

I say it's your fault for forking out 89 bucks for drum corps on the internet... GO THE REAL SHOW.

I heard it on the apd, I must say that this is a slap in the face for 'drum corps' if they win with this.

I can't believe you guys are worrying about a performance order....
