Ain't gonna happen...sorry. Not that I wouldn't love it to happen...but it won't. Watch what happens tomorrow night...they will come in as good as 14th as low as 17th. Any higher and I'll eat my words. Not trying to be negative...just keeping it real.

With respect, what you said is i'm sure 100% true...But I think your missing my main point. Offer me/other ppl a high angle shot as the ONLY shot to watch...if I so choose. Offer the Multi too...just give me the option to choose which on I want to see. Not sure why this would be so hard, the camera is already there, shooting it. Some producer somewhere is trying frantically to put them all together in the short time a corps is on the field and will make errors in judgement, esp if they haven't seen the changes. So I get that. But WHY do I have to watch that mess if I don't want to? Just offer a high angle so I can watch the drill/whole corps at once vs faces.

All that too. Heck maybe even add pre/during show web cast announcers...as long as they "know" Drum Corps...with no talking during perfomances. See...this is good stuff. Hopefully someone from DCI with some vision is reading this.

well yes, I'm understand what it takes...been a tekie for waaay to long. What I meant was, the technology exists to make it better. I get that HD cost's $$$$. The country is pushed to go all digital by this year...HD next. All the Cable and Sat companies push that they have more HD than the other guy. I'd say 45% or better tv channels are available in HD. Its not like the technology came out this year and its still really new. It's like the Internet. Not that long ago...say windows 95 era, there was only a few companies with thier own web site...now EVERYONE has a web site. Maybe HD hasn't quite come that far...but its close. I'm just asking DCI to use the power of the internet. Heck make it a Pay per view in HD in TV. I'd be the first in line...i'm sure I'm not the only one. I just think if DCI wants to get more kids involved in our AWESOME community and maybe make Drum Corps some semblance of what it once was...they need to get with the program. Haven't they added syth recently?...and how big of a topic was/is that? Do something...this topic was about what "we" thought of our viewing experience. I thought it was ok, but the constant refreshing was just unsat. IE, F/F whatever. it was below standards. and don't even try full screen...looks like watching a normal signal on my 52" LCD...fuzzy.
