  11. 2010 Things we can control: Launching a new business - Mass Bay Music Festivals First Crusader Classic South Golf Tournament Extended stay in Quincy - fun time with Alumni and friends! Winner of $20k from Chase! Winner of the first ever Old School Challenge! Presenting a program that personifies the Crusaders! 70 years in business! Eat Em' Up Boston!
  12. Update from the Madison FB page: OLD SCHOOL CHALLENGE FINAL - I never anticipated we would raise this much and I never thought the results would end up being this close. Boston wins $16,558 to our $16,489. We had 129 donors and Boston had 80 donors. This was great fun and I think we can all agree that both corps won in this campaign. Now let's see if ...we can close the gap on them out on the field! Update from the Crusaders FB page: Update from Tom Spataro - OLD SCHOOL CHALLENGE FINAL - In an old school knock down drag out finish, with a difference of less than $70, the Crusaders prevail. Boston raised $16,558 to Madison's $16,489. With a combined fund raising effort of over $30K, I think we can all agree that both corps came out of the ring victorious. From both Corps: THANK YOU TO ALL THAT SUPPORTED BOTH CORPS!
  13. Well so long Murphreesboro! Proud of the kids for making it to the big show tonight! I thought they did a great performance tonight (but I am a homer!) Changes made over the past week should clean up just fine! On the plus side: Performed in a great venue and show tonight! An extra nights performance fee! An extra night for souvineer sales! Another fan network event! Final night to push the Old School Challenge, and it was a good final push for both Corps! The scores are what they are, as my Dad (God rest his soul) would say - what are ya gonna do! On to Atlanta, another great show with a treat for the parents and alumni - a significant amount of them heading to the show to cheer on the kids and spending some time together after the show! Espirit des Corps!

  18. The Cusaders will perform with the Top 8 in the activity tonight in Murphreesboro. We are all very proud of what they have accomplished this year. The corps is much better across all captions this year and the show design continues to improve. I wish it was as easy as some make it sound as it relates to cracking the top. As a steadfast supporter for the past 32 years, I know that the entire organization is focused on continued improvement. It is very easy to sit in the peanut gallary and provide personal opinion. It is much more challenging to actually do something to make it better. Espirit de Corps!
  19. So the details are coming together for Atlanta: The housing site is: McEachern High School 2400 New Macland Road Powder Springs, GA According to Tom those that ordered tickets can pick them up at will call. Finally, please join the Corps after retreat for snack and hang time with the kids before they depart for Tennessee! Eat Em' Up Boston!
  20. Keep it up Boston! Great work this week, with some great rehearsal time this week at the University of Louisiana - looking for some great performances this upcoming weekend!
  21. Hey Boston! Shout out to the kids, staff and management - Eat Em Up tonight in San Antonio!
  22. Well said BRASSO! I woulld also add that the margin for error or the risk (not as much) reward factor is far more challenging at the non G7 groupings.
