With SCV, they treat the 2 as completely different corps. SCV auditions are held one date, while SCVC audtions are held another date. If you don't make it into SCV, but they see you have talent, they recommend you to SCVC and give them a shot. There's also the "thanks but no thanks", but that's irrelevant right now

since theyre 2 for 1......and please, i like HARD shows....with kick *** hornlines and killer drumlines....and most old dci shows dont give that to me...so yeah with that being said, which 2?

With SO many shows to choose from, everyone has to have their own favorites. I'll list my favs and see if anyone agrees and they can post theirs and why if they would like =P SCV 1978- bottle dance just plain kicks *** =) SCV 1989- the whole thing just rocked my socks :=P SCV 1992- Fiddler on the roof again.....Bottle dance! Ripple at the beginning! Spelling out SCV... i loved it! Star 1993- Just blew my mind....the second time i saw it Cavies 1995- The planets is pretty much my favorite piece of music EVER Scouts 1995- It was just that...a drum corps fan's dream! the audience at the end was just 1337 Scouts 1996- the beginning with "a mis abuelos" OH YEAH SCV 1999- I could just feel emotion oozing out of SCV...had everything i love in drum corps shows BD 2000- Not so sure why, but this show just got stuck in my head Cadets 2000- The Percussion parts ROCKED and so did the high brass at the little switcheroo of the hands Scouts 2003- LOUD, AWESOME and jazzy~~ also the first scouts show i ever heard Phantom 2003- Beautiful sound, nuff said. SCV 2003- I LOVE THIS SHOW. Favorite show of all time for me It was the very first drum corps show I ever heard and it just made me fall in love with DCI Cadets 2003- The malaguena part was very entertaining, especially with the snares lying down while playing SCV 2004- Oh man The beginning and ending were amazing, the vanguard yell felt SO good... Plus, a chick that can get in and out of clothes in less than a minute? Definitely a plus for me Bluecoats 2005- Came across this when i heard what my friend's high school band show was gonna be and I thought it sounded pretty tight! BD 2005- The trumpet soloist.... Crown 2006- the first crown that stuck to me and made me see what a BIG horn sound the have! Cavies 2006- Freakin AWESOME visual program! Phantom 2006- FAUST!!! nuff said. BD 2007- The beginning was so ANGRY and RAUCHY...I LOVED IT not to mention the awesome percussion feature Crown 2007- William Tell Overture, entertaining and sounded awesome! On Air- Everything about the show impressed me, the emotion, the music, the FLUGEL HORNS!, the kneel down at the end, i loved it sooo much SCV 2007- After the vanguard yell, the rest of the show was just plain BA. Same goes with the Eureka yell. Of course some people will disagree...but this isnt to place to argue, this is DCP!
