Could someone please explain to me how SCV is playing in this position tonight, ahead of both Crown & Cadets?

He was on tour with the Cadets the first 11 days and then on tour with Crown for the next 11 days. I know he has recently been back on tour with Crown again ... working the food truck. He's quite an interesting individual!!!

Yes, I survived. When we left Chambersburg yesterday afternoon at 4:00, the thermometer in the food truck window registered 101.4 at one point. It was relaxing to get in an air-conditioned van and have the last session of our "red cup club" for my tour. Next show I will be at is NightBEAT & then Indy. I still have my "second son" in the corps this year, Eric Van. I still gotta get him his Gatorade & Nerd Ropes!!! Later ...

"boxingfred" is a great guy!!! I was on tour with him for 11 days, leaving Chambersburg last night. I guess he had to get back to work like most of the rest of us!!!

Someone asked previously what Crown's average was. It was about 20. They had about 52 age-outs, about 20 of which were rook-outs that had previously marched with Cavs, Cadets, Teal, Jersey, Memphis, Colts, Phantom, etc.

This is Herbert's 4th year ... same as my son, but Herbert is at least 2 years younger.

From what I have been told, the changes with Tinkerbell involve something with the drum majors changing. However, I was told that they weren't going to add that in until Indy ...

Who are you kidding?!?!? ... Crown has had five shows in five days ... going from Tennessee to Alabama to Georgia to South Carolina and to Virginia. They probably could have used a day off to rest.

I just looked in my Basic Pathophysiology textbook and they are referred to as delirium tremors...Wikipedia has a tendency to not always be accurate.

I guess everyone should start playing middle school music .... and sit on chairs!!!

It's not just you ... my wife just fell asleep watching BD as well. Other than the pit & battery, our middle school kids play music that is tougher than BD's show!!!!!

I have been to the camp most of the last two weekends. Their music is incredible. In the words of my son, a 4th-year mellophone, both the music & drill are "BALLS TOUGH" ... and still developing.

My daughter is at the show. She didn't think the Crown show was as strong as two nights ago, but that Phantom's show was amazing ... first time she has seen it this year.

My daughter is in the crowd, but isn't too interested in sending reports. Last night, she would tell me who was coming onto the field ... nothing else. She then sent me a text with all of the scores. However, I was only about half finished typing them up for here and they were already posted on the DCI website ... with full recap ...

I was just typing up all this info from my daughter and found it on DCI already .....

My daughter just told me that there was some kind of a "traffic delay" and things are running about 20 monutes late. Crown goes on in five minutes ... then BD & Cadets ... Cadets-sponsored show ...
