  1. I want to turn this a little more positive (if possible)... As a Cadet fan/former audition camp attendee I was a little disappointed in their program this season BUT I have to say they did work hard to improve it and by finals week they were entertaining and put on a fine display of marching, music & spinning BUT the thing that made me PROUD as a Cadet follower is the dignity they displayed - and not just at retreat In Semi's I couldn't help but glance over at corps coming down the ramp/road leading to field level toward the right end of the stadium... several corps had members "run" down the grass, others were mobs coming down the sidewalk, others were "in formation" but were just walking in formation - out of step, etc... It all looked way too relaxed for my taste - they were clearly in view of the fans Then the Cadets. Marching perfectly down the ramp, in perfect step, instruments held perfectly still in front of them - prayer block formation STUNNING & CLASS ALL THE WAY!! Yeah Cadets! Made me proud,
  2. I hope the changes will drive away some of the "legacy fans" THEY DRIVE ME WACKO always expecting things to be the way they were when THEY marched, and thinking the shows are designed for THEM instead of the marching members Sooner old timers are gone the better IMO Sorry to be blunt but that's my few - if DCI doesn't continue to change it will die
  3. I've always enjoyed Crossmen but I agree - they are heading in a positive direction Hope the support in TX continues to grow for them :)
  4. I am bringing a very special friend in for the Saturday show in Allentown Want the very best seats someone out there is willing to part with - so I will pay TOP dollar for 2 center section seats!! Reply here please, or send me a PM here on DCP - no emails please Thanks!!
  5. they were better then too - they just didn't win
  6. absolutely NOTHING - I think that's most of our points - if they finish in fifth they won't measure "success" by it or "failure" it is what it is...
  7. oh brother - love the liberal agenda here... so hard practice means BAD PRIORITY setting this is a lot of what is wrong with this country anymore HARD WORK IS GOOD. It's good for the soul and the body.
  8. when you have a gap to make up (like Cadets) it is good to have a lot of judged evaluations so you know where you stand and you can push your base score higher prior to Quarters when you have the lead (like Devils) it's good to have cleaning days since if you clean up it's even harder for others in your rear view mirror to catch up both have advantages IMO :)
  9. good show tonight - getting tighter at the top :) goodnight everyone!!
  10. You know - I think we *got* your opinion Cadets narration the first 200 times you stated it. I do agree Coats due a nice job with it / nothing against them. But their show "concept" feels very HS to this listener. And the speed racer in the mallets is way odd in the opener.
  11. I agree / but it might be tough to win with something so retro... time will tell.
