Lately it's been Bluecoats 2010. Sometimes I pretend that the show was called "The Future is Meow" and it's about cats taking over the world.

And how many props did Houdini have? And The Factory?

I wouldn't mind more props with this show. Imagine a couple more pieces of bedroom furniture, and some other more abstract-like objects, constructed in a Picasso fashion, all warped out of shape. Some dark blues and deep reds, it would really bring out the theme. Say for example, a big comfy dark blue rocking lounge chair, all Picasso'd out, perhaps a bed, instead of rifles or sabers, have twisted stick-like objects. The keys in the Houdini show were great, let's do something great this time around. If this show is about a Picasso painting, I'd like to see the field turned into Picasso-land. I think this might pretty much ensure a 7th place finish. Judges really seemed to like the furniture on the Home is where the heart is show, so I don't think it's too risky. This color guard has what it takes to really boost us up, let's get them more integrated.

85.15 is what we scored at finals last year and we're already at that point. Very glad to see the staff challenge this corps again and hope to see it continue with a more difficult program next year. Kids are rising to the challenge, showing us they can handle it.

Yes i hope this year will be redemption for 2010 where they really should have beaten vanguard. Not sure we get to 92 this year but doesn't matter much if we get to 7th.

Nice run for Bloo. My opinion is they are 3rd in brass, 2nd in percussion, 1st in visual, 3rd in guard, and 1st in GE. 1st in overall by .55?

First time I can ever remember being more emotionally impacted by the Blue Devils than The Cadets. That ballad is gorgeous. Congrats to BD for doing something so completely different, both musically and visually, than what they've done in the past few years, and doing it so well. They will probably stay ahead of Crown for the remainder of the season. Bluecoats still have a bit to do to convince me they deserve the gold medal. Maybe they will do that tonight.

Blue Devils are uncharacteristically dirty for this time of year...

OK, I'll give you that, but they did end up 5th that year, right? This is supposed to be PR's shining moment in their show. It's supposed to showcase their brass, or at least the talent they have in the brass line. Nerfing it just says "We'll we thought we were going to impress yall, but....nevermind. Hope you like what's left." Granted, what's left is still good, but like I said, it was supposed to be difficult for a reason...now it's less difficult. I thought they were actually doing it well before. If there were some issues, they still have a couple of weeks to get it better.

I love SCV's show in that it's such a light-hearted show, a breath of fresh air after such heavily energetic and dramatic shows from the previous 4 groups. I'd love to see them medal over Crown if it were possible, but not sure that is going to happen.

Cadets better play and march their a**es off...because Cavs have their left blinker on, no oncoming traffic, and ready to hit the gas.

This has got to be the funnest AND funniest closer I've ever seen or heard in DCI. meow meow meow meow

I thought they got a new tarp but it seems the lighting in the dome is making it look different. I can see the creases from folding it time after time after time. I think the jacket colors along with the props and mirrors don't complement the tarp very well anymore. I think they should get a new tarp but make it black with white radiating from the middle, like a black hole with light trying to fight through. It would wonders with the dramatic effect, which this show already has plenty of. This show is wonderful. ---- New ending....not liking it. They need to end on a powerful note. Hear how the crowd reacted? Not good. They had a chance to almost 2pt Phantom tonight, but now they will probably beat them by .75 or so. D***it....I was hoping they would blow my socks off at the end...how disappointing...omg I so hope they change it. I hope they have a trick up their sleeve for the end at Finals. I still believe this show has what it takes to move up close to 6th. I don't think they can get 6th but they can get within 1.5pts of 6th if they do it right.

Oooh! They got a new tarp!

Phantom didnd't seem to click tonight. I'd start getting worried if I were them. If Blue Stars come out strong tonight, they could end up having 8 other scores called out after theirs. I noticed the quartet in the closer was nerfed a little. A couple of the runs were taken out and made easier. This isn't something PR typically does as far as I remember. This tells me the brass judges are having some problems and they are trying to shine the show. I don't remember nerfing the show ever working well for any corps, unless it's a major problem and they have no choice. PR just didn't seem to sparkle tonight and their show is looking less and less impressive the more BK and BStars improve their own performances. Let's see how BK are going to do. I'm intrigued now, the drama in this competition is starting to get me a little pumped up.

Academy's show really works. And they are clean. I'm gladbthey finally took this step up the ladder. Congrats!!!!

This is my first time seeing Crossmen this season. I have a feeling I'm gonna be pleasntly surprised.

Andrew Lloyd Weber wrote Jesus Christ Superstar. Not Judas. I wouldn't compare thos show to the musical. I did perform JCSS in the pit for this musical once.

They're supposed to be telling the story of the guy who betrayed the incarnation of God in the flesh, and they play bar room jazz. This is why it doesn't click.

Lol. People who are desperate aren't going to care much between 720 and 1080. I gave them $100. I want HD. And when I get my OLED I'm gonna want 4k.

I can't believe this isn't being broadcasted in at least 1080. Boston performing this show as best they can. Staff didn't give them enough to work with. Not making Finals but hey, Academy wants a turn to play on Saturday.
