I’ve been to every finals since 2004 and this is the first time I can remember them actually using the metal detector. They’ve always been here but never used

They’ve had them every year but they haven’t been online also first year of really enforcing clear bag policy and checking bags. It used to be a free for all

Not to sound creepy… but with all the mass shootings I believe these new policies are put in place as a preventative deterrent. Ive also notices some police presence as well. While it sucks, it’s better to be safe then sorry

UPDATE: Still no line at 50 yard line concessions there’s even tables available to sit!!!

Okay…. All of you that are stopping at the first line you see as u cross from downtown ….DONT!!! We kept walking to the side and got in under 10 minutes. Everyone’s stopping at the first concession stand they see…..DONT… as of this writing there is no line at all at the concessions in the wynnbet club. 50 yard line. Work smarter not harder. Have fun!!

With tight scores this year I’m feeling a lot of the “I’m not clapping or standing if you’re not my corps”. This crowd really is uptight this year. Hopefully better tomorrow night.

Last time I looked…The Cavaliers are sponsored by the Village of Rosemont. Just sayin….

Just said the same in the other thread. where’s the velocity in the closing drill, give us something. Standing on the side line in a straight line isn’t cutting it. Do something….anything!!!!! Bring this crowd to their feet. I just can’t believe they think this ending is okay. You can’t have a boring end then follow it with a boring addition. I just don’t understand. Oh well…it’s almost done.

Great performance tonight. Can’t believe how much better the guard has become the last two weeks. I just wish the staff had figured out the last minute of the show and the soft ending. Standing on the sideline in a straight line just isn’t doing it for crowd reaction.

I would be good if they kept everything thru the accelerando. after that I don’t get it. I keep wondering what this design team is thinking. Give us something that pulls us to our feet during, not after. It’s weird that the same group that gave us that amazing ending to Wrong Side Of the Tracks thought this was a good closer. Meh…Then again… they also created the last few minutes from 2018 On Madness And Creativity, which was a complete flop.I keep hoping that Thursday night will surprise us all, but I’m not holding my breath. This isn’t on the members, the GE scores suck. If those were better just a few tenths would separate them and Cadets/Blue Stars.

Still not understanding the soft ending. For some reason I feel like parts of it are placeholders.

Just watched the new ending a few times. if you notice they leave a line of Brass across the front sideline instead of joining the rest in the corner. Seems awkward if they leave it that way and really the only part that I’m not liking. could there be more added? Maybe one last reprise or hit to bring the crowd back to its feet??? A double tag ending??? Lol. The current design team doesn’t feel like the soft ending types to me.

Cavies taking all the Music captions and one GE judge. Visually getting better but need to clean and add GE. Two weeks ago Blue Stars had a two point edge. now down to .8 Also, starting to pull away from Mandarins. Let’s go Green Machine!!

Agreed. Just saying that some have the Cadets catching SCV for fifth. there’s two or three corps behind them that are working hard for that sixth spot and are getting closer to them with each competition. but of course they should be proud they’re even in that spot.

Cadets need to be looking in the rear view mirror. Objects may be closer then they appear.
