Lots of people have high expectations for Phantom. I haven't seen their show in a while, so I'm curious to see this raw emotion that seems to be coming through right now. If this gains them momentum in placements, I can seem them medaling, but with other competition being what it is, I think it might be bronze at best. Disclaimer: my bias towards Cadets and the realism of trying to beat BD is coming out in this post. Go Phantom, and stuff.

You know what? that might be what wins it for them, too. Cadets' performance captions are not exactly in position right now to have it "in the bag"... but that might do it.

I just dont see Cavaliers making that move. In fact, I thought of putting CC in #3

It really was a great and unique idea. It just looks bad because everyone knows he's a Cadet.

2007 felt like it too, but BD won more. There was a fair amount of flip-flop, however.

i was wondering the same. placements seemed odd, but i don't think it was to put cadets up front. how could he know how it would all shake out with the combined other scores? I used to think it was all a conspiracy when I marched because certain things just didn't make sense to me, but I've given up on that since then.

94.8 seems like a really high score for two weeks left in the season. Will we be seeing three corps in the 98 range come finals? Maybe even TWO in the 99 range? I used to think the sky was the limit, but someone is raising the roof!

funny how the angels and devils got a tie score...

i think a lot of groups have already tweaked the rest of the show to make it work, from their original designs. now, using that info, they tweak the rest with the understanding that the audience (and judges) are most affected by what they see last. does it work? iuno... :::shrug:::

With Cadets winning GE, it's just a matter of time before their execution scores rise. They have the show to beat, hands down. And... I think Cavaliers have the only contender, not BD or Crown. Just the way I see it. In past years, Cadets have been known for the "August Push" and I think it's happening. I think from here, the lead will fluctuate, but it will remain a lead and grow from here to finals.
