Does anyone know where we find out if the show is still on? I trend driving up there and there is no show.

Right now at 4:45 it is sunny and hot in Boston but a big storm is coming up from Connecticut with tornado warnings. Should be hitting Boston in a couple of hours.

Does anyone have the schedule?

In's raining cats and dogs in Boston right now. It is supposed to rain all day and night.

I like the Blue Devils. I find their show entertaining. My only beef, and this is only because I like "the thrill of competition", is I would like the scores closer to make things more exciting. It isn't my favorite show but they must be doing something they right as they are basically owning most all of the captions this year.

I am just happy they are back on the field. Many corps that take a summer off never return.

OK, I am a J1. that sounds so degrading. But I am a J1 vet....at least.

It's a very interesting season which makes it very exciting. Lots of different corps beating other corps. I find it fascinating. What will be more fascinating is how it all ends up. Many turns and twists are going to be happening in the next few weeks.

What's a J1? I know as a VET I should probably know but I don't???

I am not sure I want to be a fanatic. A fanatic conjures up images of scary things to me. I am a vet though and please don't forget it. It's the little things in life that make me happy. Like being a vet on Drum Corps Planet. And for you rookies out there I just want to say I am there for you.

How long before I get to be a fanatic? I am always looking for The Grass To Be Greener. bu da bum ba.

I take my new Vetdom seriously. I promise to live up to and be an example to our lesser distinguished rookies. When you need advice, counsel or just a friend to talk to I will be there. If you have issues regarding your paradiddle or low c or color guard plain I will be there as a guide and resource. Missing home, lets compose a letter together. Dietary needs, let's talk nutrition. An instructor is giving you a hard time, let's discuss an intervention. Ladies in the corp not noticing you, how about a new hairdo? If your marching technique needs cleaning you can count on me. Let's find an out of the way place in the school and work on your double time. Most importantly you will know that I will be there for you in order for this to be your most exciting, fulfilling, amazing summer ever. signed, A Vet.

I am thinking that we can have Cognac and smoke cigars in the exclusive Vet Club Room. Can the moderators work on that for us vets? I don't mean to throw my Vet Status out there but I am a Vet.

As a vet here who has obviously been around the block I just have to say this is all very exciting. Where the season ends no one knows.

Don't get so excited about being a vet. It isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's cool and all but you have to take the responsibility seriously and be a role model for the New Kids On The Block.

OK, no bells or whistles or streamers fell from the sky now that I am a vet. You were all here to witness me move from being a rookie to a vet. It is a momentous occasion and I am so happy that you were all here to share with me. Group hug.

Cadets. They are still down in performance captions. Once they clean they win.

Who picks the award? Disney, I guess, but are they drum corps people? If so, it could be SCV. If not, Crown. Does the corps get money for that award?
