Well in 07 when we didn't make finals (*sigh*). The next day we had the age out circle in the morning before cleaning our horns, turning them in, and going to watch finals. I think it would be a big disappointment to be bussed home without even seeing finals.

No problem! The double-tounging passages in that song were ridiculous for a div 2 corps. Blew me away when I first heard it, and it's actually what made me want to march in 07.

With the economy the way it is today, I don't think DCI could afford to lose that many fans...

For 3rd trumpet that range is pretty much perfect. Just be able to play well within that area (low notes count too), and you should be fine.

Depends on who you go out for, I'd say. I'd say, generally, yes it is harder, just for the sheer fact that trumpets hold the majority of the melody. That's not to say they always do. As for switching, I'd say stick with what you've been working on. It'll benefit you more in the long run, and I think you'd have a better chance at making it.
