I suggested a color scheme of black, white, gray and neon green. Close to what they seem to be doing. Should pop a lot better.

Correct. The front and back panels especially weren't dark enough. I'm loving the new color scheme but awaiting seeing it in action actually on the field.

agreed - they've been testing them for a while. I guess to be sure... the guard also added ten yard silk tosses over the corps during the ballad. They show five, but that should be ten :)

he is probably referring to changing the yards to all 10

they spent the first month. As the uniforms were running late. They added color to the program very late in terms of the silks. So wish they would have kept it all plain

Cadets run last night at Broken Arrow = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djMrGUqdShI you can see the small field covers being tested - those will cover the 2,3,4,5,4,3,2 to change all the yard lines to 10 also 3 members out during the run, rifle & snare (both out in SAT also) plus a drummer from the quads - hopefully all our healing/resting and will be back in soon!

Often bands/corps go to darker colors if they are struggling with visual feedback. I have no idea what the motivation was in those particular cases. White pants (or cream colored uniforms) show EVERYTHING.

that's NOT going to happen only corps who can't clean go to black pants... :)

what's classic about this is I posted some pics on twitter from Allentown when I was on dcp "vacation" - I didn't post one of my Crown pictures because in the mass rifle catch there were several drops - so I chose not to post it I believe the Cadet image captures what it was meant to - intensity of the performance. I doubt it's publishing was run past the guard experts - it was more meant to show how into the performance the members are - and it does so wonderfully JMO of course

All jokes aside it is a much more modern and current color scheme.

Very Ala Crown the past two years so they SHOULD love it.
