I'm not sure she implied anything like that - even from just a travel/expense/low level interest of "what do a few of the competitors look like? Even JUST basic manners. Showing up and going bonkers for one corps and ignore the other one is what is is, rude. If you're gonna do it - be subtle about it. IMHO

Cadets have been seeing pretty good set of volunteers, pretty much a combination of longtime Cadets volunteers, member parents and a dose of alumni. I think the better turnout is because of being treated well and APPRECIATED. But whatta I know?

I'm more annoyed by smug BD fans than I've ever been about the scoring - BD are terrific - some of the fan base not so much.
