so im wanting to audition for drum corp in november, and am taking mellophone lessons now(since i play clarinet(every corp i talked to in indy said i should try out on mello) does anyone have any good tips for me? this will be the only year that i could march since im going into the navy the year after, so i really want to make it into a corp! thanks.

ive seen one or two single posts about corp parties. but i havent seen too much. does anyone know where and when all the corp/finals parties are going on? thanks.

i went to a rehearsal, and a train passed by in the background, and someone said "oh look, its phantoms hornline" although i do love phantom regiment i will admit that i found that a bit funny.

im already in indy, will be volunteering all week, and then i have finals ticket on the 50yrd line!! so excited!!!!! :D see you guys there.

im 19, havent marched drum corp yet, but will audition next year, only thing keeping me from it is the navy. was sworn in, and am supposed to leave end of nov, but i am about to retake my test, change job, and hopefully get a leave date after next august. if thats not possible, i finish active duty when i am 23, so i will be too late :/ Wish me luck!

i got a hotel room 6 miles from the stadium 2 double beds, but since im traveling alone i won't need the second bed.

i have no idea. it'll be my first time volunteering so Idk if they offer transportation. but i did post that in case someone staying at or near my hotel sees that, and if they are also volunteering maybe we could carpool or something? ill probably just be playing it by ear.

well since ill be up there from the 4th thru the 9th volunteering with dci, i can't afford a nice hotel a block away, so ill be staying about 6 miles away at knights inn south. and will either be walking or taking a bus everyday to the stadium. by the way, this is my first post, so hi.
