My high school played Malaga as our opener in '10. It's a fun piece, but it can't beat the impact of Malaguena. Missouri State played Malaguena as our closer this year and it was a lot more fun.

Colts are keeping theirs. They've had a great cymbal line the past couple years.

Hello folks, I'm Mel. I reside in Southwest Missouri. I attend Missouri State and I'm in the 360 member PRIDE Marching Band as a member of the battery. It's been a dream of mine to be in this band since 5th grade. I am currently a member of Gateway Indoor (rookie awwww yeah). It's really neat being a part of an ensemble whose instructors inspired me to pick up drum sticks just by watching a simple Youtube video. We're going to be doing great things. I haven't marched drum corps yet, but I'm sending a video to the Bluecoats within the next couple weeks. They are my dream corps and it'd be neat to be a part of that my first year. Personally I like it. I think it adds a sort of classiness to them. I'm all about the visual aspect of drum corps and I think it looks great. I mean, it'd be cool if they changed the uniform structure (not just the design) within the next couple years. I'd like to see some new changes to a lot of different corps. I really love what the Cadets did with the two different uniforms. We kind of got to see a different side of the Cadets that we've never seen and I loved it.
