I am not sure if anyone posted this on this thread but I have to say something. This year I will really be rooting for Regiment. Of course cavies are my favorite but Phantom Regiment comes in second on my list... but anyways I live in Huntsville TX and I met this fellow at a store and he saw me wearing my cavaliers shirt and asked me if I marched with them. Of course I said no and said that I was just a hardcore fan of them. So then he told me he marched with Phantom back in the late 70's early 80's... and we spent a whole afternoon talking about drum corps... he knew so much and just when I was going to ask him to tag along with me to the Houston shows he died in a car accident. I was extremely sad for awhile. So this year at the Houston show I will scream the loudest for Phantom Regiment. Just for him. I find it amazing that the name of their show is "Into the Light" I think its rather appropriate.

Yeah it doesn't seem as active as yesterday... but I am kinda happy about that because I was able to cook and not miss much

They did something like that in their 08 show during the slow part... Not surprised that they would do something like that again.

Nothing like watching updates and eating what I just cooked on the grill!! OH HAPPY DAY!!!

Heck yeah!! I think I am looking forward to seeing them live in Houston sadly I wont be able to keep ya'll up to date with the shows but I do plan to write a review! I wish it was July in a sense lol!

Yeah thats tomorrow! I wish their were more shows yesterday and today but never the less more will come!

I guess I didn't miss much. Who else is pumped? Because I know I am!

This is from a friend of mine who is at the show right now. I asked how many people are there and she responded... A few hundred ? I'm at the bottom so it's empty but the middle and top of the stands are full Does that sound like a better crowd response from last night?

You make an extremely good point. I couldn't agree with you anymore! I actually predict that the cavies will beat the cadets tonight... but im not 100% on it so don't quote me lol!

I agree with you and to add to that I do not understand why people keep putting cavies in 8th-6th... Personally I think they are going to be in the top 5 again this season... but where I have no clue...

Last night when the first scores of the season were announced I couldn't help but think how did people get up to date scores back in the 70's and 80's. We have the internet now to post live scores but how did DCI spread the word in those days? And I am not sure if this topic was ever done before (more than likely) but it's something that I don't know.

I say wait the whole season... things have changed in the middle of the season (as well as the end look at 08).
