  1. This one will probably be a speed race. What were the words shouted by the corps members in a very memorable segment of their show that last played Harrison's Dream.
  2. The Cavaliers have had bad luck in odd number years since 2001. Maybe its a "The Ca..." thing.
  3. You are correct. The word was "Chicago" Your turn, sir.
  4. This thread is to keep the drum corps flowing until next June. The rules: I will begin with a question. Whoever answers the question correctly gets one point and gets to ask the next question. Simple. You peoples get the gist, so here we go: Question 001: What corps was the first to spell a word on the field? Scores - jimwolf359: 1 LoveKathyG: 1 BRASSO: 1
  5. Proof that things are not set in stone yet: 0.025 That's all I have to say.
  6. I believe that there was a similar topic like this last year in regards to Blue Devils. Note, this is for humor only. Some of my reasons on why they will not win: -Demons go on strike, do not show up. Without the demons, show title doesn't make sense, judges deduct massive points. -During The Cavaliers show, the lead guard member at the end summons a thunderstorm on the field. Later, The Cadets all get zapped by their poles. The result: The Cadets lose 10 GE points for not being able to use that visual. The Cavaliers gain 10 GE points because, well, they can summon a thunderstorm. -Santa Clara Vanguard crashes their show, dragging the demons back down to Hell one at a time. -Phantom Regiment decides to leave Romeo on the field for the rest of the performances. The remaining corps all trip over him, Phantom pulls out a win. Your turn, DCP.
  7. SCV 2010 - "Bartok" / 2011 - "Bar Talk" Crown 2009 - "The Grass Is Always Greener" / 2010 - "....Unless You're Red/Green Colorblind" Cavaliers 2009 - "The Great Divide" / 2010 - "The Somewhat Okay Divide"
  8. I'm new to the APD's. Saw the BLL8 in theatres last night and was interested in the APDs from last night. When do they usually come out for purchase? What's the usual price for individual/bundle? Will all 41 be available or just the World Class?
  9. So, to keep some humor in the air on DCP, what would be the title of a years "sequel show?" Examples: The Cadets: 2007 - "This I Believe" / 2008 - "Gullibility, Since I Believe Everything Now" Troopers: 2011 - "The Road Home" / 2012 - "Are We There Yet???"
  10. 01. The Cadets 02. The Cavaliers 03. Blue Devils 04. Phantom Regiment 05. Carolina Crown 06. Bluecoats 07. Boston Crusaders 08. Santa Clara Vanguard 09. Madison Scouts 10. Blue Knights 11. Spirit of Atlanta 12. Troopers
  11. Troopers: "The Rest Stop" or "Are We There Yet?"
  12. 2012 DCI Programs: -The Cavaliers: "Xtra ordinarY" Members will not do anything special and do mezzo-generic drill such as basics block and play warm up chords. -Phantom Regiment: "Romeo" Same show, but all male guard, all female drum majors. -Madison Scouts: "New York Afternoon" Stock Exchange crash show -Blue Devils: "The Beat My Heart Skipped....and had to be restarted" Show about defibulators -Boston Crusaders: "Peace" Now that the revolution is over, the corps will portray a time of peace, including members sipping tea and bowling.
  13. Just thought I would start this thread early. :) Because I like starting threads early. :D Anyway, how is performance order determind? Average of scores from SA, ATL, and AT? Or is MN thrown in there too?
  14. Interesting.... My link Does this set a record for the earliest show announcement?
  15. If you play Phantom 2007 backwards, it still has the most epic opener and closer.
  16. If you watch Saw backwards, it's about a guy who gives limbs back to the handicapped. If you watch Memento backwards, still only half of it makes sense.
